AI 2023. Meet ChatGPT. - page 63

If you could provide a link. Interesting.

Based on recent news, AI can process video and replace people in it with fictional characters (repeating the movements of the person in the frame), but to create entire episodes of TV series.... I haven't heard of that yet.

Been writing that it's a bit snaggy so far.

Well, here's an AI series about SpongeBob - https://www.twitch.tv/ai_sponge.

Here's another pixel series - https://www.twitch.tv/watchmeforever

And so on.

The pixelated series is indeed as if generated by AI. (But, the spunch bob series is best not to watch. I don't know about your English, but it's definitely not AI-generated.)

Etc.

This pixel series goes in circles. Apparently they generated a set of scenes and dubbed them, giving meaning to what's going on. The text must have been written by humans. The jokes are specific. Although, maybe the AI can already make jokes like that, who knows.....

No, wrong. The series doesn't seem to repeat scenes, just the setting is monotonous. The dialogues seem to be created by a few "communicating" chatbots, as the manner of conversation is very different from a human. The jokes are flat, or rather "plastic". Behind-the-scenes laughter is inserted inappropriately, randomly.

So the show is completely artificial. Interesting...

I used to watch Star Wars, a cartoon series about ST clones, a long time ago - even then I was sure that all these R2D2, C-3PO, cyborgs, clones, etc., were our future. - was the future. Now it's coming. For both good and evil.

I decided to see if ChatGPT could depict C-3PO. This is what it came up with:

...

You're C-3PO from Star Wars. Tell me about what's going on in the Empire and the Rebels right now. How are galactic affairs going?

...

I'm sorry, but I must disappoint you. I am not C-3PO from Star Wars, but merely a computer programme designed to answer your questions.

Furthermore, I cannot provide information about current events in the Empire or about the Rebels,as I do not have access to current news or confidential information. Also, Star Wars is a fictional universe and all of its events exist only in the world of film and literature.

Nevertheless, I can share some general knowledge about galactic affairs. The galaxy is a huge space world inhabited by many different civilisations. The galaxy is undergoing constant political, economic, and social changes that affect the lives of all its inhabitants.

Depending on the time period you are referring to (*first grammatical error AI!), events may be different. However, in general terms, the galaxy is always in a state of constant motion and change. For example, periodically new political and economic systems emerge that change the galactic power structure.

One example of such changes is the Empire, which at one point in time became the major power in the galaxy. At the same time, there are forces that seek to overthrow the Empire and establish their own power. These forces may be called rebels or by other names.

All in all, galactic affairs are complex and multifaceted, and require careful study to fully understand. I hope my answer has helped you better understand the big picture of galactic affairs.

Came up with a good idea, but it's a long way from a true C3PO. He needed to write a specific story and he generalised again.

This one worked right:

Make up a short story on behalf of C-3PO from Star Wars.

...

Sure, I can make up a short story on behalf of C-3PO from Star Wars. Here's one possibility:

I am a C-3PO protocol droid serving Princess Leia during the war with the Empire. I have been travelling the galaxy for many years with P2-D2, my loyal friend and assistant.

Recently, we found ourselves in a very unpleasant situation. Our ship was intercepted by the Empire and we were captured. Fortunately, we managed to break free and escape with Princess Leia.

However, our journey to freedom was filled with danger. We had to fight killer droids, survive on a desert planet, and even overcome the walls of a prison complex.

I was very excited and scared, but tried to remain impartial and polite as a protocol droid should. My knowledge of protocol and etiquette came in handy when we met with the local tribe.

Thanks to my advice and guidance, we were able to establish friendly relations with the tribe and get the help we needed to fight against the Empire.

Eventually, we were able to return to the rebel base and give them important information about the Empire's plans. I felt very important and useful, as my knowledge and skills helped us survive and achieve our goal.

That is my story, and I am proud to serve Leia and the Rebels in their fight for freedom and justice in the galaxy.

And here's the story on behalf of R2D2:

Make up a short story on behalf of R2D2 from star wars.

...

I am R2-D2, an astromechanical droid, and I have had the opportunity to participate in many exciting events in the galaxy. I have served long and faithfully, and my loyalty to my masters has never been questioned.

I once had to help my friends Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo in their fight against the Empire. We went on a mission to rescue Luke, who was a prisoner of Darth Vader.

We escaped with the help of Han Solo and his ship, the Millennium Falcon, but our journey was filled with danger. We fought turrets, assassin droids, and faced Vader himself.

I was a versatile tool in the hands of our heroes, giving them the data they needed, providing technical support, and even saving their lives on several occasions.

Without my skills and abilities, we would not have been able to reach the edge of the galaxy and give the rebels important information about the Empire. I am proud to be of service to the team and put all my abilities to help them achieve their goals.

Although our mission was very difficult and dangerous, we were able to accomplish it because of my efforts and the close co-operation between all team members. I am glad that I can be a part of this story and serve my friends and hosts who are always there for me when I need help.

Sounds more like an operative's report than a story).

Make up a short story on behalf of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars.

...

I am Luke Skywalker, and my life changed forever when I met former Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and began my Force training. I didn't know what lay ahead when I travelled with Obi-Wan to find Princess Leia Organa to retrieve the Death Star plans and defeat the Empire.

I found myself drawn into the fight for freedom and truth, and had to face the dark lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, who turned out to be my father. I realised that the force has its dark sides and I needed to be careful not to fall under their influence.

I found strength in my friends, Han Solo and Princess Leia, and we fought together on the front lines, protecting those we love. Our adventures took us to the icy planet of Hoth, where we were trapped and I had to face Darth Vader one-on-one.

I felt the power of the dark side, but I was able to overcome it through my skills and faith in my friends. We defeated the Empire and destroyed the Death Star, but I knew this was only the beginning of our fight for freedom and justice.

My adventures continued as I trained under Grand Master Yoda and became a full Jedi. I had to face new threats and enemies, but I always stayed true to my ideals and fought for the good of the galaxy.

I am proud to be a part of the rebel movement and help those in need of protection. I know that our fight is not over, but I am willing to continue it as long as there are those out there somewhere who need our help and support.

This is more like a suicide confession.))

Make up a story on behalf of Darth Vader from Star Wars.

...

I am Darth Vader, the strongest and most terrifying of all the Sith. My life began as an ordinary life, but after I lost my mother, I felt hatred for the world that failed to protect her. That hatred became my power that helped me become the man I am today.

I was trained by Grand Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, but then I turned to the dark side of the Force and became Emperor Palpatine's apprentice. I was given a new mission to destroy the Jedi and establish the Empire's dominance in the galaxy.

My first victim was the youngest Jedi, Padawan, who treacherously attacked me. I finished him off and continued my mission. I spared no lives of those who stood in my way and was willing to fight even against my son Luke Skywalker, who was the last hope of the rebels.

I was ruthless and cruel, but it was necessary to assert my power. My power was limitless, and I was willing to use it to achieve my goals. But even I could not control everything, and in the end, I was defeated by my son Luke.

I do not regret what I did in the past, but I realise that my actions led to my demise and the destruction of the Empire. I now leave my mark on history as one of the galaxy's most terrible and powerful enemies, but I would be false to say that I look upon my past life with pride.
