From theory to practice - page 818

Dmitriy Skub:
I want to respond in your style: something I do not understand you, uncle - you have a lot of SB, and then a lot of NOT SB. Are you getting cold feet? Make up your mind))

:)))) Hilarious...Bravo!!! Well, such failures make one cringe a bit...

Alexander_K:

Do you use stoops or not?

Andrey Dik:

Do you use stops or not?

No. On principle.

On New Year's Eve, in case of positive tests, I will post the source code (as promised) in VisSim, but without comments. Who needs it, let him understand it, rewrite it for himself and put a stop.

Look!

Here we know that the number of ticks differs from one DT to another...

And how do the values of ohlc minute bars differ?

Are there big differences?

Alexander_K:

Slightly changed the method of reading the ticks. Let's see. Still, it is in them and the timing of their arrival that the great mystery lies. No one can convince me otherwise.

Ticks are only needed to clarify the moment of entry. And the decision of entering and its direction should be based on analysis of bar configuration (depending on the target size) on М15...D1 timeframe. IMHO.

Alexander_K:

....

What kind of quotes are you getting? 4 or 5 digits?

limit trading to the "night flat" from 10 p.m. to 2.

the spread will of course be large, but trends are unlikely

Uladzimir Izerski:

Which quotes do you receive? 4 or 5 digits?

5, of course. From a real NDD account.

I think I've found what I need for the tests...

Dukas doesn't call it ticks, but 1-, 2-, ... seconds quotes. There it is real: was/are tick quotes - a second (2-, 3-, ...) bar is formed, no - means no.

And this is not an advertisement! You really need it for your work.

I'll ask again:

1. How different are the M1 bars of the different DCs?

2. How different is the number of ticks within a minute bar from one day to the next?

Reason:
