I did this, it looks like this folder is created when the second terminal is started when installing the EA demo. I will check it now

although no, the Metaquotes folder on the C drive is created after installing mt5 (I deleted this folder before installing), after installing mt5 I have never run mt5 yet (clicked close after installing)

Did you fix the shortcut?

If so, delete the folder C:\Users\myage\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes

and if you didn't, the folder will reappear.

That's the shortcut.

I fixed the shortcut before the first launch, deleted the folder, but after launching from the shortcut the folder appears again.
