Opera has a "special button" that lets you accept or block pop-ups! What, it doesn't help?

There is also a link to Java.
In general, it is advisable not to download software from "left-hand" sources, as updated anti-viruses detect "surprises" in them, if not immediately, after a period of time.
For FF, I can also recommend the AdBlock add-on called Element Hiding Helper for AdBlock Plus.
There you just mark the unwanted element on the page and it won't bother you anymore. It's just that AdBlock doesn't always know what to cut...
