It will work, in times of crisis these swindlers are always in high demand, people are tired of trusting authorities, and they need to trust somebody - out of habit, while good people always come with attractive offers. Perhaps MMM is a distraction, instead of GDP promising to save in the national currency and inside the country.

Okhlobystin is a terrible actor, completely untalented. Talking about his dramatic prowess is as irrelevant as comparing potatoes to cucumbers. The scriptwriter - yes, at times interesting, but he can't act with his face or his voice. Fake intonations are his forte.
The show itself is a typical sitcom, nothing remarkable. The same humour is in every other soap.
