So what are you all here for? Isn't that what it's all about?
Don't say we're here for the money, because you don't have it, and even if you do, it's not from here.

My cat is very fond of chasing a spot from a laser pointer. And (mind you) he hasn't eaten or even sniffed a single speck yet. Catch him in the paws is impossible in principle, but it does not stop him shit. Moreover, one more failure only further annoys the young cat. It's the process, not the result, isn't it, gentlemen traders? ;)

I think it's like in sports, many people consoling themselves when they don't achieve the best result. They say that the main thing is participation, not victory. But people go to sports to get a result and to be the first.

Dmitrii Kulman:
... it's all about participation, not victory....
You tell that to Hitler... )))

As in sports, many console themselves when they don't get the best result. They say the main thing is participation, not victory. But people go to sports to get a result and to be the first. saying that the main thing is the process, not the profit, you just console yourself.
Finally, at least one sensible idea! People come to sports or other places and believe that they will run the 100 meters in a second and throw a discus over 2 kilometres. But it's not like that. Someone spits and leaves. That's where the myths come in - all athletes are on doping and steroids ... and so on. But some stay and achieve their results. To achieve results you need a lot of persistence and constant training - a lot of sweat and time... If you don't make an effort - you won't get results! You can't get it right away - nowhere!

Consolation and reassurance have no place in work. Here you can either work or play, and most people show that they do.

Alexey Busygin:
Comfort and encouragement have no place in work. And here you either work or you play, as practice shows, most people do.
You know, I started to play, I got nothing, I lost everything, I wanted to give up and go away. Then I met a very good man here at mgl5 who has achieved a lot in forex.I have tried a lot of strategies, i stopped at scalping and the grid, although i have tried about 100 of them, as the main thing is not to give up and look for an approach.

Google knows everything, you just have to know how to ask.)

No, that's not why I'm here. I don't have the mind-blowing percentages many people talk about, but I'm still on the plus side, and I haven't lost one yet.

I was interested in this topic, when the author was telling me something about his methods, hoping to get something useful. Now it's just a place for laughs.

George Merts:

...hasn't leaked a single one yet.

that's not how it works especially in Forex

Unless you're God.

Dmitrii Kulman:
As in sport, many people take solace in the fact that they didn't have a better result. They say the main thing is participation, not victory. But in sport you have to get a result and win. saying that the main thing is the process, not the profit, you just console yourself and many people do that.

By the way, a very good illustration.

Sport can be approached as 'chasing records', or it can be approached as 'fitness' or 'running away from a heart attack'.

Most people here are after the former. No one is interested in the miserable 300% a year. Everyone wants so much per month. But it's clear that this kind of profit can only be made with the "casino" technology, with the corresponding risks. And if you trade "by eye", as the author does, the probability of winning is close to zero.

However, if you approach trading as fitness - "to improve your figure, health, increase your attractiveness" - with the right effort it is quite realistic.
