Do you suggest a mechanism for how these 'unnecessary' ticks can be excluded from the test.
Another wish for the strategy tester is the ability to change the arrangement of the windows in visualisation mode. The illustrative example below.
An entry/exit strategy involves confirmation of signals on older/lower timeframes and/or symbols.
In the strategy tester, the windows can be combined with indicators in the visualization mode. All the windows are, of course, synchronized by time. And you can clearly see (without switching between child windows) the state of other timeframes/symbols at the moment. I.e. nothing new, except for standard MDI functions and possibility to overlay a chart template not only on the main (first chart), but also on all the others
Also, as an additional application in the standard MT5 client package you can make a manual trading tester. Or add a "manual mode" to the strategy tester. A good example is http://www.chartgame.com
Together with the ability to connect its tick history MT5 would position itself more fully as an analytical package. It seems to me this is the right direction to develop the product and increase the number of users. Perhaps this package could be positioned as an extended package and already be offered on a paid basis, as the analytics block would not be tied to a particular broker and the costs should somehow be recouped.

ME5 при компиляции выдает ошибку, на мой взгляд не обоснованную.

Fair point - will do.
Six months have passed. The error is still present. Doesn't look like there is any quick fix for the bugs identified

Can you remind me the number of the servicedesk application, please? We cannot find it.
I'm sorry, I didn't make a separate application - I thought that if you wrote https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/11/page104#comment_368048

there's no need for a separate application... However, bureaucracy

It would be a good idea to make the default graphics with the Black&White scheme
The thing about Green&Black is that it's hard to see and it's very hard on the eyes. Whenever I have to re-install the terminal, I first adjust the default patterns for the terminal and the tester, i.e. switch the patterns to Black&White.
But newbies who do not understand terminal settings often use Green&Black and spoil their vision + publish screenshots of charts where they can't understand anything. For example, like here: Attention! This will be useful for almost everyone! I want to translate my trading system as an Expert Advisor, but I don't know MQL5.
Although, of course, it's a trifle. But sometimes even the smallest interface improvements leave a nice impression on the developers, not to mention make life easier for users.
