What should I change if using IBFX with GMT = 0?

Hi Newdigital,

I am using IBFX Australia. So, I would like to know what I should change with the "New settings" for V1.59?

IBFX Australia has GMT = 0.

Also, Between V1.59 and V1.7.3, which version is better in terms of profit factor, net profit gain and max drawdown?

Thanks for your information.

Regards,

James

I am using Improved version of PolyFitScalper_v1.59_noHedge EA with FXCM broker and this FXCM broker server time is GMT +1 for now.

Alpari rus/NZ is having GMT +1 now (winter time).

IBFX is on GMT + 0.

In my settings for this improved 1.59 https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/179781/page10 I am not using EURCHF_M1.txt file with time (this file should be in file's folder but it is not used as ScheduleMode = 0 in the EA's settings/input).

So, all the time should be defined inside EA's settings/input.

In your IBFX case -

Example with the settings and how/what to change:

StartHour:

Alpari rus/NZ and FXCM = 19

and it is 18 for IBFX.

EndHour: Alpari rus/NZ and FXCM = 6

and it is 5 for IBFX.

So, change the settings on this way (subtract 1 hour).

By the way - there are as many good and possible combination of the settings with many versions so it is very difficult to recommend.

if you want to try on demo so try latest version with the settings from this old version https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/179781/page10

Does anyone know if the "Max Orders" setting relates to the symbol that the EA is attached to or the whole account?

mcspooge

It is related to symbol+magic number (so it is not related to the who;e account regardless of the same magic number)

regards

Mladen

Thanks Mladen.

Is it possible for you to add a setting for the whole account?

Hi Newdigital. The newest version is V1.7.3?

Hi Newdigital,

1. Is the newest version V1.7.3?

2. I noticed that recently, you did not forward-test this EA on EURGBP. Does it mean that this EA is not profitable on Eurgbp?

+ The best pair up to now is still Eurchf? Timeframe is 1-minute for all the pairs, right ?

Thanks for your further information.

James

1. Yes, newest version is PolyFitScalper_v1.7.3 EA.

But newest improved version is Improved version of PolyFitScalper_v1.59_noHedge EA.

2. I did not test EURGBP yet.

3. Some GBPJPY or GBPCHF ... do not remember exactly ... you can try EURCHF first.

Yes, M1.

Hi Newdigital. Does this Polyfitscalper ea have Martingale strategy?

Hi Newdigital,

Thanks for your information.

This morning, asian session, the Version V1.59 placed several orders on eurchf, m1 timeframe. All trades were winners. Good for the first day of testing.

But I noticed that this EA increased the lot size from 0.01, then 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, etc. Does this mean that this Polyfit scalper ea have Martingale strategy? Please make it clear so that I can set up lot size properly.

Thanks and regards,

James
