PolyFitScalper - page 17

The only way to do it without changing the settings is set lot size. For example: starting lot size as 0.03. Or 0.04 or 0.05.

---------

Besides - be carefully with the brokers: my few demo accounts with Alpari UK were disabled (demo only - I do not have real account with them; I am having real with Alpari rus and it is fine for now) -

I think - Alpari UK does not like scalpng even for demo So, I will start new accounts.

Because if the EA made 333 dollars for 1 month with very small drawdown using 0.01 lot size so I can understand why they do not like it:)

Because in case of 0.1 lot size - it is 3,330 dollars for 1 month as a profit.

Anyway - I will have to start it from the beginning.

I will post old statements.

time schedule

how did you guys come up with the time schedule that you are using?

this seems to be the most important part so i was wondering did you just choose times you thought are normally slow?

I think .....

Hi msquared

I am not creator of the EA, but I like discussion.

If I am saying wrong, somebody please correct me.

The definition of range time is from market observation and experience, I guess.

I do manual counter scalping Japan and US lunch time.

probably not many people trading at that time. and no big news around that time. so, mostly range time.

Market moves for the reasons. if there is not big reason, not much move.

Respectively , When Euro and US session, most of the pair moves a lot.

Like London opening, fixing, US open time and some hour later, are good example of high volatility.

When the market is moving, counter trade is nightmare. but good for trend follow system.

If your EA is designed for moving pair, you should not trade Asian session.

Trend follow systems give opposite sign lots with less volatility.

less volatility time filter is good for counter trade EA like polyfitscalper.

even thought, unexpected big movement occur, when usually range time.

if the movement go opposite direction,

that is the time polyfit scalper gives draw down.

I forgot one thing, High volatility with coppy market condition, that's the worst.

after big new, sometimes happen, when people think the result of news differently.

@kokoriso7

thank you i find this information very useful!!

As always, thank you very much for this. Will try it out. Right now I am trying your other 1.60a mod with various settings. It's early days, but things are looking good so far.

The are so many possible configurations.... we can have this setup in million different ways. Lovely

Did another mod of Polyfit, now this version using Daily HiLo Jurik Smooth only taking trades in direction of breakout if in agreement with Daily HiLo Jurik Smooth on the statement it says Polyfit 1.59 its because i'm using 1.59 moderate martingale set file from Newdigital but with larger lotsize to try and overcome commisions from broker(Jade).
