Why not entry first?
Because those colors are not locked in until bar close.
I think what waterloo was trying to say was, why not trade the entry he pointed out in his screenshot?
I agree with you waterloo, maybe our friend Suk here can enlighten us all and explain why the entry you pointed out in your screenshot was not taken, and the 2nd set of red bars were taken.
As always like rob says though, we wait until the bars all close and the current candle closes, entry is always on the opening of the next candle.
Hi guys, Because I am not EA robot, I believe on this occasion, I was in bed eating my wife's delicious egg on toast and sipping tea whilst listening to the birds and watching the clouds pass thru the sky. DNT today sorry for that. Back tomorrow. We need to decipher some of the systems from earlier posts also...
Straightforward sell/buy 20 pips each.
Sell against trend (1/2 number of lots)
Buy with trend (1 lot)
SL 10 + spread
TP 20 (1st trade)
TP 25 (second trade)
1.7505 profit taken @ 1.7481 (20 pips 10 net)
1.7515 profit taken @ 1.7444 (25 pips 30 net)
Total pips for day 35 pips net
Suk, very nice trades there brother.
What were the stoplosses based on, previous highs/low's?
Its good to see that you got away with a small stoploss such as 10+spread on the 15m timeframe
Hi Wiltered. Because market moving in a channel, and reversed so expecting change of ATR as well (range) to lower than the recent 300 pip/day moves down to the fibo number @ 1.69XX from 2.1160.
I am using all CCI indicator also to make sure signal is not reversed immediately on the open of entry candle.
both long. 2 lots; 1 lot, closed out 1st lot @ +50
SL moved to +20 out on both remaining lots.
Total net pips: 50 + 40
= 90 pips
Entries green, initial stops red, all closed yellow.
I just took another rare buy limit long at my previous entry, 1.7477 (pivot 1/4 lot 30 pip stop target 50 @1.7537/41).
Scalp to freedom 10-20 pips a trade...guaranteed?
I'm confused. Could you please tell me what is
scalp or scalping? Thanks.
Hi Bongo it is essentially in and out of market in either a very short amount of time or for about 1-20 pips in a trade profit. I had moved to testing trades on 15 minute chart which is not so much scalping having got lost in some of the impressive looking systems being posted by other members...thanks for checking out.
