Hi kuekpeow,

All advanced stats in RAS - for buyers.

It means - which performance the buyers will have.

It was the idea to make something as vendor's panel where they can precent their performance with their broker and their drawdown and so on.

Sometimes it will be the same with buyers, sometimes not.

For example, you are vendor trading on IBFX mini.

You have 10 subscribers trading on Alpari UK.

They will not have your drawdown and so on.

So, advanced stats performance (with balance/equity image) are for them.

May be later on RAS service will have something as 'trade with my broker' case. Later it will be with some of the brokers (who want to participate).

It is almost impossible to compare all the signals all together. Because how to compare martingale and hedge systems?

Or old classical systems as Goldwarrior or Scalp_net with martingale? It is impossible. Too different systems. Besides, the vendors can tell us about the system, or not, or tell the true, or not ... you understand.

yes, it was big discussion with everything. RAS service also had sharp for every signals calculated in 2 different ways. We are having many posts about it how to calculate, Igorad created indicators and so on.

The problem with sharp was that this sharp is very difficult to use for forex systems because as I remember - sharp = permanent profit monthly for example (same with the bank - 2% every month for example) So, it is not as the profit increasing or decreasing. It is something as the buyer is receiving 5% of return for his 100% investments every month exactly this 5% and in this case this sharp will have maximum value.

As you know - it is impossible in forex.

In portfolio creation - yes, sharp is one of the main indicator.

It is about the image stats (stats simulation) which moderator can make using your performance in RAS + Metatrader (quotes) + indicator coded by Igorad.

Looking on the post #6 so you will understand that this indicator is similar to AccountEquityAnalyzer indicator. Elite members know this indicator. So, it is understandable about what the equity is. This indicator is making the performance using Metatrader's quotes and using Metatrader as a software and most of the figures are calculated based on equity and not based on balance.

So, it is the performance which your buyer will have if he will use his broker, his lot multiplier and his initial deposit size. Not exact performance but very very similar.

Of course, it is necessary to know the buyer's broker, buyer's initial deposit size and his lot multiplier. Without this knowledge we just can say the following:

"let's say my buyer is having IBFX min broker and he subscribed at 12 February with 12,340 dollars deposit with 1 lot multiplier ... so his performance should be like this in this case (see image) ...".

To know exact buyer's performance so the seller may ask for clones (automatic buyer).

Some members confused with blue line on post #6 (or yellow line on advances stats page of RAS website). Just for your information: I am making same stats for elite section (Alpha EA, Electra EA, Frank_mod EA and so more) for more than 1 year using similar indicator. So, the members should know about floating dd and so on.

Also moderator of RAS is having the scripts to show the trades on the chart and it may be easy to understand about: where seller open the order and where the price was 1 day after ... and how many dollars drawdown max ...

Of course, if the buyer will use IBFX broker with symbols EURUSDm and so on so his stats will be different but moderator can simulate this stats as well.

Few more words about equity/balance lines. There are many members who can see equity/balance image only, or forward testing statement image only and can say: "it is martingale system", or "it is hedge" ... and so on. I can say to you: no need to be a big specialist for that just to have some preliminary understanding about which kind of the system (martingale, hedge, old classical etc) the seller is using having just balance/equity graph for some period of time.

Statistics suggestion

Is it possible to report the following statistics under "Stat" tab for all signal provider system?

1. Account Equity for signal provider account : $xxx (when) <- update every day or every hour

2. Account Balance for signal provider account : $xxx (when) <- update every day or every hour

3. Leverage used by signal provider account : 200:1

4. Worst case (Maximum) required margin : $xxx (when it occur) <- only keep the worst record

5. Worst case (Minimum) margin ratio = Account Equity / Required Margin : xxx% (when it occur) <- only keep the worst record

The reason is very simple.

One signal provider can set up a $5,000,000 demo account, 200:1 leverage and trade in multiple lots (e.g. 50 x 5 lots or 100 x 1 lots). It's not difficult to score the highest in weekly USD and weekly pips by trading like this. You only need an average system with high leverage and huge account size to do this.

Another signal provider use $5,000,000 demo account and keep opening many 0.1 lot trades, and average down the losers - it's easy to create a no loss system if the account size is big enough and each lot size is small enough...you just keep average down the losers until you're breakeven and get out.

I've seen a profitable system in RAS (with quite a lot of live subscribers) opened 85 orders maximum (min lot size is 1.0) - it means 85 lots...assume 200:1 leverage, you need a $425k account or margin call will occur.

I think RAS needs to inform the risk stats to buyers if they wish to subscribe the system - if they follow the system they need a $425k account to avoid margin call or they really need to scale down the lot size.

RAS is becoming very unorganized. You need a basic search function that can search for the name of system or seller name. And you can't allow someone to post more than 2-3 systems, it's a complete joke to see someone trying to sell signals for so many system...especially when they look to be just parameter changes. If you really want RAS to be taken seriously, you need to take a look at the quality of the seller and the quality of the signals. Most of the signals are complete junk and not profitable. Not any newb can open a signal. Maybe submit at least 6 months of actual live profitability before able to sell signals.

This is the blind leading the blind right now.

I think that search function should be improved.

As to 'complete junk and not profitable' signals - it is the idea to place such as warning button.

In the same way as there are "report about bad post" button, or bad links button.

So, anyone can press and report about bad signal, same/non-same performance and moderatorswill understand this report officially.

Otherwise how to control many signals?

Can I sell manual signals not an EA? Truly consistently profitable EAs do not exist, but a few consistently profitable human traders do. Hope this is a possible,

Yes. Of course you can.

It does not matter for RAS EA how you will open the trades: by your EA or manually.

 

RAS has been very good. Just need some experience to work with it.
