I found this indicator. It can generate two offline charts of renko bar, but, look like range bar ? or other name?
1st, 2nd or 3rd bar enter a trade. Try.
It is not range bars chart.
It is a modified Renko chart, probably derived from the mean Renko chart by chance. I found this type of chart only in the MT4 platform. The problem with such chart is, that the open price is a way far from the real price.
If you find a way how to trade it with success, please let us know.
I just got this indicator and start to watch it. It look similar to smoothy Heiken Ashi candle.
The bars are not real price, yes.
But, when price is running in trendy mode, then, the bars can be well visualized or look quite good.
I use it in Dow index or US30 for intraday, sometime, Dow got straight up/down intraday trend move in a short period.
Only catch up one such turning and trendy move in a day is enough for a day. During US equity session, short or micro
trend always happen. This chart can be used to catch any micro trend in entry on 1st, 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th bars,
20 pts stoploss. If color change exit.
SPX500 move small range, not good. But, Nikkei move big range, good for this chart. Trendy pair is good.
Asian weekly open, I haven't got ready yet. But, Dow or US30 got good straight up trendy move. one chart is 10 pips renko bar, another is 20 pips bar. I put my EA on 20 pips chart for demo test, manual set for short, so far won aud $ 935. It was wrong direction. So, I stop it, wait to see if set up for long.
And what about the period before that "nice trend"?
How did you filter that period out?

this indicator is working in mine..mt4 build 711 ..not even range bar ea..m use fxopen ecn demo account..how to make it work..does it support build 711..
range bar ea work on build 711. put it in expert advisors fold. compile it.
open a 1 minute chart. load ea on 1 minute chart. watch it work.
Then, go to file menu, click "file" ---> open offline ---> eurusd,M2
