Need Help To Edit This Great EA - page 6

During my testing I will add the following pair: (these pair to make a basket together with the GBP/USD (daily average = 95) to represent all eight currencies that IBFX has)

EUR/CHF (daily average = 49)

AUD/CAD (daily average = 68)

NZD/JPY (daily average = 145)

and use this indicator below to reveal the daily average (not ATR) to get the current factors..

EUR/CHF (49/95) 0.515

AUD/CAD (68/95) 0.715

NZD/JPY (145/95)1.526

Simply mutliply the GBP/USD defaults for TP...TS..IS...BE & POG with those factors above (400, 150, 75, 45, 35)

If you do not understand and need to see a detailed example, just let me know.

This is not a direct answer, because I do not have one yet about which filter to use...but I was wondering if a stop and reverse were implemented what would happen?...

We are also assuming our thread-author has optimized the gap setting...

Well, I can tell you that backtesting from 07/01/2004 to date show these stats :

Total trades 369

Short positions (won %) 197 (35.53%)

Long positions (won %) 172 (66.86%)

Profit trades (% of total) 185 (50.14%)

Loss trades (% of total) 184 (49.86%)

Largest profit trade 4044.00 loss trade -772.20

Average profit trade 773.77 loss trade -574.55

Maximum consecutive wins (profit in money) 6 (5165.35)

consecutive losses (loss in money) 6 (-3772.20)

Maximal consecutive profit (count of wins) 8016.00 (2)

consecutive loss (count of losses) -3772.20 (6)

You see that there is a 50.14% of win percentage, I think that if adding a certain filter we can reach 60-65 % , we have a great system.

Any clues which kind of filter can be good to a system like this ?

Just found this on another forum...same system..longer TF GoldenMoneyTree.com :: View topic - SIBKIS system

Just found this thread https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/trading_systems on our forum with EA.

0.30 BuyStop @ 2.0335 GBP/USD SellStop @ 2.0261 third try

0.10 BuyStop @ 1.6367 EUR/CHF SellStop @ 1.6327

0.10 BuyStop @ 0.8710 AUD/CAD SellStop @ 0.8652

0.10 BuyStop @ 78.59 NZD/JPY SellStop @ 77.43

Three of the four pairs executed, except for the original GBP/USD.

Two of the three pairs exited at BE. (I like this EA)

So there are two things left for the EA to perform...

1) It must track the open AUD/CAD trade and apply the BE and trail it...or exit it at a SL. It is currently Long from 0.8710 with a SL at 0.8656 and a TP at 0.8996

2) Waiting to see if the GBP/USD trade opens. It will be the third try (2 SL's no BE trails or TS's), thus I am entering with 0.30.

ES

P.S. Thus far, this simple method and EA execute flawlessly...I am doing my best to complicate it !!!

Hi, thank you soo much also for these links, omg i'm seeing that there are a lot of good EA foundable on the internet... i guess that the MQ4 Championship of this year will be a very competitive competition!!

(omg because i will partecipate too and i think this time will be hard to win!!)

Anyway, thank you again! I will look well

Remember...you newcomers...

This EA will not work with Lots 0.01...you must use 0.1 or more...

If you use IBFX... TimeZone = 0

Good Trading to You.

ES

P.S. The thread author only trades GBP/USD from what I can tell...I am testing these pair additions and using a partial martingale in a step up fashion...each retry gets another 0.1 Lots...according to grusso's backtest this EA see's no more that 6 consecutive losses.

Ladies & Gentlemen...

right on schedule...

The GBP/USD never filled and the EA cancelled the pending order at 22:00 server time, flawlessly...

I have an open AUD/CAD (I will be curious to see what the EA does with this at the next opening round).

I will be posting the new daily averages and inputs just before the next opening round at 01:00 est..(I might even throw together a spreadsheet...remember you can also use the indicator named ATR, if you do not like that Daily Average Indicator I posted...you will need to change the spreadsheet that I will post with some different formulas if you use ATR )

GBP/USD remains at 0.3 trade size, all others 0.1 (no Sl's were hit on the other two open trades today, just BE's)

Good Trading to you..

ES

P.S. Where is our Thread-Author?????

Not bad at all, isn't it ?

Considering it is one lot on a 100k balance without MM...not bad at all...

How about the GBP/USD? Are there better settings that the current ones? It is important, as I use it as a base for the other pairs...I have never used the optimization portion of MT4 and have no idea how?
