what i thank about this EA

xcooper:
Wayne,

Thank you for sharing such a nice EA. I tested this EA for about a month and it has been doing great. I am a manual trader, using 4X Made Easy and a strategy called "Big Light". As the first time I saw this EA, it lighten me up that the concept is quite close to the way I trade manually. This EA proves itself to be one of the best. As this morning on EUR$, I took the profit before I went to work because the indicators said the EUR$ is not going any deeper for the day. My equity grows nearly double in one night. I am not saying it exaggeratedly. For a good EA with capability to secure profit and avoid choppy market, trading one currency pair is good enough to make for living. If Dan's Steinitz HAS EA can sell for 50 bucks. Bliksem is worth a lot more as long as it improves to secure profit and stay away from the choppy movement. Well, I can tell because I am testing the HAS EA too. Attached is a statement for July.

bliksem_1.htm

according to xcooper record

when lost once in a pairs (start from 0.01 lots) ,you will lost 250$ (it not happan offen), so if start from 10000$ , once will lost 2.5% , it is ok and accecptable. and one pairs well earn 200$-700$ .

so firstly i don't think start this EA from very small account , still risky when you lost 250$ .

I think start from above 5000$ , and if above 10000$ is very good for mm

.

and we do can trade 4-5 pairs to lower risk and increase income.

I am sorry for my poor english

It's v3.0, please find the attachment for the preset file. It's default setting bliksem_h1.set

do you trade in weekend ? and when NFP? HOLIDAY?

still forwad test 3.1

start from 10000$

5 pairs

take 400$ profit manually this moring from EUR/USD ( reach 9Th TRADE , a little risky)

Original Bliksem v.3.0 have the same errors. I only allowed SELL orders. Now I don't know why EA can't select orders at first time. But orders anyway closing by EA. Don't worry.

ok

let me check it . though I am lazy man . but I still know how to debug it . maybe I well find bug .

till now 12 hours , there is no open trade in my 5 pairs

condition to open order is really strickly as author said . but it is ok . we should be patiant to see the result of end.

Be patient my friend, be patient. I am not sure who said this originally, but I remember it everyday and I make a living trading Forex;

"I would rather be sorry I missed a trade, then be sorry that I made a trade"

It is good advice, very good advice and my original design was with this thought in mind.

People have already started to change the EA, so I am thinking of leaving this thread as the EA now trades to much and will kill accounts!

This is not my EA anymore, I will move to a private forum and post the link once it is setup for the people that would like to continue working with the original will be welcome to join me there to continue developement.

Impatience in Forex is a killer.

Thanks

Wayne

I would like to follow the original. I am perfectly satisfied with the entries. If the exits could be managed better in an automated fashion it would be perfect.

People People People

Wayne,

People will always try to change things.

Don't take it personally.

(It would happen in a private thread as well.)

I appreciate your postings. And your quote.

If your entry is high percentage, it should work with a trend following system with no Martingaling.
