Hey,

Look at the pic carefully (attached file). as you can see my candlestick pattern color changes as soon as it enters into one of the sessions. I don't want that. I want my candlestick pattern color to be same during any the sessions. I am not able to find any settings to how to change. Can somebody help me in this.

You did not tell us which market or what symbols, so we can only speculate, that they are in fact only tradeable during certain hours of the day, or that some bank-type holiday is at play.

Price Action Analysis Toolkit Development (Part 47): Tracking Forex Sessions and Breakouts in MetaTrader 5

The foreign‑exchange market operates 24 hours a day, constantly cycling through major financial centers around the globe. Each region brings its own characteristics: the Asia session tends to start the day quietly, Tokyo often provides the first true direction, London injects strong volume and volatility, and New York carries momentum into the late hours with frequent reversals or continuations. Recognizing which of these sessions is currently active allows traders to adapt to changing market speed, volatility, and liquidity.

For new traders, keeping track of these sessions can be confusing. Broker server times often differ from local time zones, and manually calculating session boundaries can lead to mistakes. The All Sessions EA solves this by automatically synchronizing to the broker’s server time, displaying accurate session boxes for Asia, Tokyo, London, and New York directly on the chart. This gives beginners a clear visual understanding of how global markets hand over control through the day and how price behavior changes as one session transitions to the next.

Where Do I start from?

Today’s challenge is to leverage MQL5 to visualize these market session periods, aligning them seamlessly with higher- and lower-timeframe structures. By synchronizing the open and close of these sessions, we aim to better understand how each one influences the next—and how timing truly powers price movement. Another fascinating mystery to uncover lies in the realization that financial candlesticks themselves represent time-based bars—typically denoting hourly, daily, or weekly periods. By applying the same concept to market sessions, we can create session-based candlesticks, each reflecting the unique characteristics of that trading window. Just like traditional timeframes, every session possesses its own Open, High, Low, and Close (OHLC) structure, telling a distinct story of activity, sentiment, and volatility within that period.
