What do the settings mean and do they work?

Hi Pedro,

I'm a very new and inexperienced Forex trader. Some of the pedroxxxmod settings

are unfamiliar to me. Would you explain some of them to me?

I am now testing pedroxxxmod on the MT4 FXDD platform and I wanted to know what

these mean:

Lots - is this the size of the basic unit pedroxxxmod is going to trade?

StopLoss - no need with this definition, but does it work?

TakeProfit - same as above, does it work?

GAP - I have no idea what this is ???

MaxTrades - Is this the number of trades pedroxxxmod can open at one time?

ReEntryGAP - Again, no idea what this is ???

tStop - I know what it is, but does it work?

tPips - I don't know what this is or if it works ?

StartHour - No problem with this

EndHour - Same as above, no problem

MM - What is this?

MaxLots - I also don't understand this one..what is it?

BTW, I setup pedroxxxmod and it is now working on a $10,000 FXDD demo account

and it seems to be doing well. It has already opened 3 trades this morning.

Knowing a little more about what the settings mean would be great and I appreciate

you sharing this EA. I will run extended testing on it and report all my results.

UPDATE: These are definitions as per pelele79 .....I thank him!

Lots.- lots that star the money management 1 - 50.

Maxtrades.- yes, number of trade that it open but depend of reentrygap.

Gap.- Number of pips to take positions. it wait a number of gap (pip). example if gap

equal 5 then it wait 5 pips up or down to take position.

Reentrygap.- this number control the maxtrades, if reentrygap is 1 then 1 pip at a time

reopen a position in same currencie.

MM.- money management, it chec the account and verify if it can take another position

and number of lots.

Maxlots.- Number max of lots if you put mm in 1. he rise the lots while account rise to maxlots(50).

Another things, i probe that this expert work in choppy markets.

i was thinking about pedroxxmod, in choppy markets works very well. and i think that can work in scalper way.

I've been running pedroxxmod since the start of Monday 'cause I wanted to see what it liked and what it didn't like. Goldensight had mentioned the idea of using for scalping and that's when I heard it again from you.

Well, so far so good. Pedroxxmod has been operating now for almost 3 days and it made it through the spikes of early Monday. We haven't made any money, but we've hardly lost any either. I knew it wouldn't like the spikes, but I had to see with my own 2 eyes.

Once I get testing it this far, I'm going to have it only run at certain times (away from the news spikes) and I will then let it run an entire week on the 4 majors...as I'm doing now.

Hi Pelele79,

I notice you had pedroxxmod working only from 10:32 to 16:37 and only with the EUR/USD...very good results.

I was going to test again this past week together with anothe EA, but my work schedule got in the way. Maybe this coming week.

is it an affidable test? how do it work metatrade during the test?

On the result that I see, the price of the trades in chart not exist at that time of execution: why?
