as per my opinion,i like dots and it was using long ago for all and every where as an standard.and i remember,once one of our pretty member (talaate) suggest you for dash ( _ ) and then it was used mostly afterward.i hope in future (dot) will take place as it is universal and easy way of naming in subsequent versions.

As of your problems : it is not sure that the problem is in your code. A lot of newer indicators for mt5 that are using time frames different than current time frame do not work any more with the new builds of mt 5 (nothing unusual - they do that every couple of months when everything needs to be rewritten). That is unfortunately a thing that mt does so often that mt is largely failing because of nonsense like that

Currently none of the multi time frame indicators from mt5 code base is working (none)

That is probably due to the fact that the higher time frame you are requesting does not have all the desired data and, in the closed market, the broker is not updating that time frame on your PC. The only thing you can do in that case is to wait for the market to open, or to try to handle the error 4806 differently from the code
