Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Analyst

I have only recently become interested in the Ichimoku method. I think that anybody who is interested in the method should seriously have a look at Vincent Hunt's blog at http://huntfxtrading.wordpress.com/.

I believe he was mentored by a Japanese man who truely understood the method. Vincent does publish his Ichimoku analysis and charts for certain pairs. He is able to read support and resistance levels off of the chart without using Pivot points, Fibonacci, or wave theory. If there is anybody who understands the Ichimoku method, and is willing to share his knowledge... Vincent Hunt is your man!

I tested this settings during the many months with M15. besides I am testing some version of KSRobot EA since January 2001 in elite section with the settings of 5, 10 and 20. It is not producing many trades (about 40 trades for 8 months - because of some filter) but it was profitable.

So I think that 5, 10 and 20 may be ok for M15 timeframe.

Ichi day trading ??

I just joined this trading group. I have been studying Ichi and have been thinking to use it for day trading.

120-240-480 for H1

When using this set point 120-240-480 for H1 using the Rumus Charting System it projected the cloud out 10+ days into the future tied to a green line projecting out from the present. Is that how things are supposed to look or am I doing something wrong?

Any insight on this would be apprecaited!!!

P.S.

When later checking out the alternate H1 settings of 12-24-120 this seemed to deliver good results with the Rumus Charting System.
