EA has presumption , just like any white mouse experiment that MEDICs do -- must list out all the assumption before applying

beside trend trading

there is range trading, in my opinion, if there is no explosive news with EURO UNION monetary binding, we could consider AC in its extremities

wink , even if we get it wrong, we know what to do

The moving average that divides the prices for classes. The classes with extreme price get bigger weight (importance)

(different from WMA). it should show the state of bought / sold out of market. It Show Trend.

Lsma trend - channeled

Well, first version of LSMA trend was posted long time ago ( this post : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/180514/page34 ) and it was made only to show what some other indicator was about. In the mean time it was renamed (surprise, surprise ... ) and posted as something different while nothing at all was changed in it.

But not posting about that now .

The main problem (in my opinion) with it was the "oversensitivity" since all it is looking for is a slope of linear regression value (LSMA == linear regression value). This version is a possible way to avoid that "oversensitivity" and ads a kind of a filter on it that might help in avoiding "insignificant" changes.

Well it looks fairly "intelligent" indie, so whatever you did Mr Super-Moderator, it follows trends while doing fairly well keeping consolidation periods to minimum losses.

Is any EA coder interested in making a bare-bones EA? If you scroll back chart it might convince you it behoove you. I can do tests & optimization runs on it.

I have chart set to 5min eurusd with length on indie changed to 250 and channel length 100, all tentative for now 'til optruns, everything else is default.....but I did download it from another thread. No doubt by optruns I can zero-in on best performance.

EA should open a trade when color (in direction color indicates) appears + channel widens compared to prior bar. Close trade when color ceases. Use open bar only code line, better for tester if use only bar data. SL parameter of course, suspect it won't be hit too often, looks like color ceases before too much loss.......but will run optrun thru all variations of SL & length parameter in indie.

If Moderator can direct me to way or whom to get bare-bones EA done either free or if need jump on elite subscription to have such help, then please direct me. Hoping, of course, can see the potential in this to get right line-up for a job.

Can we have pop up alert when a trend starts and ends, arrow on the chart will be of added advantage.
