If there's something special to using, for example, Gmail; what is it?

  1. Gmail and Yahoo require SSL/TLS login. Pre-600 didn't support that so it didn't work - couldn't send reports from MetaTrader4 Administrator to Gmail Account - MQL4 forum My (625) tab doesn't have an option. If the newer build does you need to check it.
  2. Gmail and Yahoo require port 465 (secure) not 25 (plain/default)
  3. Gmail uses smtp.googlemail.com:465 User Name = name@gmail.com
  4. Yahoo uses smtp.mail.yahoo.com:465 User Name = name
 
juniorlcq: Hello, may I ask ~ why is it all my MT4 even in other computers doesn't update itself automatically like it should ? @.@ ? I restart the terminal many times before, last time this method works though, it doesn't work now ......

Exactly. My broker is way behind. I'm at 625.
 

With MT4 b646 you have introduced proxy issues AGAIN.

So proxy is NOT WORKING under b646!!
'Proxy is not suitable' is the test result message.

MT4 b509, MT4 b628 & MT5 b930 are working, and MT4 b646 is NOT WORKING.

Well can't you have a single proxy class for both MT4 and MT5?

and when you make it work, DON'T TOUCH IT AGAIN !!!

 
I believe there are issues when using proxy ..
 
Is there a chance that in the future events will be working during test mode?
 

I believe there is an error with the latest update where all toolbars shift to the left most side of the screen (http://screencast.com/t/XKsrhcZ8w4) but in the best we were able to place them and space them apart as we wanted (http://screencast.com/t/fLX9jaNfP) hope this will get fixed with the next update!

PS: It could be that one of the following Windows Updates broke MT debugging (Win7 x64 system)

KB2952664 (Update for Windows 7 for x64 - based Systems)

KB2964358 (Security Update for Internet Exlorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems)

 

since the version changed to build 646 indicators work, but all customindicators wont open.The dialogbox has only a reset-button and no OK and Cancel button.
