Why Gold Storm PRO Trades in the London Session and the Start of New York
Berylis Gold Storm PRO trades gold for six hours a day: from 10:00 to 16:00 UTC. After the window ends, the EA does not open new trades. Below: why that window, and what it changes in your setup.

What the window covers
10:00–16:00 UTC is the London session and the start of New York. Gold is traded around the clock, but not evenly. When London is open and New York joins in, more participants trade at the same time, and price moves are often faster. That is the kind of move the EA looks for: a quick run through a level set in advance.
Why not trade all day
The EA enters on impulses. Outside these hours gold tends to move in a narrower range, and a strategy built on quick runs through a level has less to work with. A defined window is also easier to check: you know exactly when the EA can open a trade.
After the window ends, the EA does not open new trades. Every trade is opened with its own Stop Loss and Take Profit.
What it means for your setup
- Time zone. The window is given in UTC. If you live in another time zone, convert it once, and convert again when your local clock changes for summer or winter time: the UTC hours stay the same, your local hours move.
- VPS. The EA needs a stable connection during the window, so we recommend a VPS.
- Spread. The recommended conditions are a Raw or ECN account with an average XAUUSD spread of up to 20 cents and a StopLevel (the minimum distance from the price at which the broker accepts a stop order) of up to 30 cents. Check them during the window, not at night when spreads are usually wider.
- Your own screen time. You know when the EA is active and when you can leave the terminal alone.
What the window does not do
A trading window is not a filter for dangerous moments. Major US releases come out inside these hours, and around them spreads and slippage can grow for every stop-order strategy. The window does not change that. Read the risk section of the product description before you go live.
How to check it yourself
The public signal shows the open time of every trade. Times in the history may be shown in broker server time, so convert them to UTC before comparing with the window.
Trading gold involves risk. Losses and losing streaks are part of any strategy. The signal statistics are past results on one account and do not predict future results. For prop-firm accounts we recommend a risk of 1% per trade or less; for a personal account, 1–2%.
