A High-Resistance Liquidity Run happens when institutions aggressively push price through a well-defined level packed with liquidity — usually equal highs or a major resistance line. This sweep collects buy-side liquidity from breakout traders and stops from early sellers. In SMC, this move often signals the end of a phase and the start of a reversal, as the algorithm raids the liquidity pool it was targeting before delivering price in the opposite direction.
