Hi,

I accidentally deleted the local trade copier that copied several positions on receiver account. Will all the positions recopy if I set it up again? How do I avoid it? And are these exisiting open positions still linked to the transmitter account?

Hello Ken, make sure you've put Copy Current Trades=false on your new setup to avoid copying again the already running transmitter trades. As to if these already copied trades will be still managed, I recreated your situation on my MT4 terminals and the old copied receiver trades were managed alright when I installed and setup the Local Trade Copier EA MT4 on the receiver account side.

and that you've checked the troubleshooting guide, in case any of your transmitter or receiver accounts have any suffix after their symbols, for example EURUSD.r

Finally don't forget to check these important things in your receiver terminal(s):

• Do not use the investor password for logging into the receiver account, you will not be able to copy !!!
• If your receiver account has a suffix after each symbol (for example EURUSD.r), put that in the: Suffix of the Receiver Account, setting (for example .r).
• Make sure that you have enabled all symbols that you will copy in the receiver account in MT4/5 >> View >> Symbols.

Transmitter account has Gold symbol -XAUUSD+

Receiver account has Gold symbol - Gold.p

I am unsure as to how to get these to copy correctly, would you kindly assist?

Hello Wayne, you should use the Special Symbol setup in the receiver account side:

Special Symbol 1=XAUUSD+,Gold.p

This is a MT4 terminal error, nothing to do with Local Trade Copier EA MT4.

Just restart your MT4 terminal and attach the Local Trade Copier EA MT4 again.

Hello David, when you copy with a better price difference in points, and you have Copy Take Profit/Stop Loss=true, these levels are copied with the same offset as the open price of the copied trade. For example if you copy a EURUSD buy trade at 0.99500 with a 0.99600 TP and 0.99400 SL, with a 100 points better price difference, the receiver copied trade will be copied at 0.99400 with a 0.99500 TP and 0.99300 SL.

There are a lot of options available for copying comments or print your own, please read carefully what is offered in the settings/inputs guide:

• Transmitter Comment: The comment the Transmitter account will send to the Comments section of the Receiver account, along with every copied trade. The Transmitter Comment setting has 4 options: to leave it empty and that way there will be no comment on the receiver side, to write your own comment and that will be printed in the comment section of the receiver copied trade, to type the symbol # and this will copy the original comment of the transmitter trade to the receiver account or to type the symbol @ and this will copy the trade ID of the original transmitter trade as a comment on the receiver copied trade. This setting should be filled on the Transmitter account side, not on the Receiver.

• Receiver Comment: The comment the Receiver account will print in the Comments section, along with every copied trade. When this setting is empty, the Receiver account will print as a comment, whatever is sent from the Transmitter Comment above. When something it is filled in this setting, will override any Transmitter Comment above.  This setting should be filled on the Receiver account side.

Local Trade Copier EA MT4 has been updated with the following improvements:

1. Comments to Copy and not to Copy settings have been added, to filter the receiver copied trades by the transmitter comment.

2. A new Lot Size Type option has been added, the Lot Size per 1000 of Balance, that allows you to apply your desired lot size based entirely on the receiver account's balance size.

3. Total Symbol Copied Trades and Total Account Copied Trades settings have been added, that give the option to limit the receiver copied trades by number.

4. A Max Drawdown % from Balance High setting has been added, that can close all receiver copied trades and disable copying when a certain drawdown value has been reached from the highest level of receiver account's balance.

5. A No Copying if Drawdown %> setting has been added that gives the option to suspend copying new trades on the receiver account if the current drawdown exceeds a certain level. Copying will resume when the drawdown level improves above the inserted value in this setting.

6. Closing of receiver copied trades due to basket or emergency account protection settings will be done following the FIFO rule from now on, making the Local Trade Copier EA MT4 FIFO compatible.

However, sometimes it get error and ended.

the error code said

'Error of Setting Timer on USDJPY.oj1m_60 = 4024'

how can I fixed it?

And, the MT4 error code said'cannot set millisecond timer(20)'
