Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5 doesn't miss any trades or trade closures if you use the default settings.

You had Use Copying Expiration in Seconds=true and Copying Expiration in Seconds=0 in the receiver side settings.

That means that if the transmitter trade is not copied instantly, it will not copied at all, so when the receiver broker is idle and the next tick on the symbol it will need to open a trade comes in 2-3 seconds, the trade will not be copied.

Please use the default settings below, in the receiver side to copy smoothly.

Your transmitter account has a .ecn suffix and your receiver account has a .. suffix, so you need to put in the receiver acccount side settings:

and you will copy smoothly.

The setup of Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5 is very simple:

1. You choose the account mode, Transmitter for the transmitter account and Receiver for the receiver.

2. You put the transmitter account number in the receiver side settings.

3. You choose the Lot Size Type of your choice in the receiver side settings.

4. If your transmitter or receiver brokers have any suffix at the end of their symbols, you put these in these receiver settings:

and that's it.

Hello, this happened because when your VPS restarted all global variables of your MT4 terminal were deleted, so Local Trade Copier EA MT4 continued copying and managing new trades, but couldn't recognise and close the old copied trades, because no records were left for them in the global variables of the terminal. There is no technical way to deal with this. This is why it is important to use a reliable VPS service.

My above answer is not correct, I recreated your case, I opened 2 MT4 terminals, a transmitter and a receiver, I opened 4 trades that were copied onto the receiver MT4 terminal.

Then I restarted my computer with the 2 MT4 terminals running and when the computer started again, I opened the 2 MT4 terminals, I opened a couple new transmitter trades that were copied smoothly on the receiver side and then I closed all 6 transmitter trades and they were all closed on the receiver side too, so everything went as expected.

So, when your MT4 terminals or your entire computer or VPS is restarted the Local Trade Copier EA MT4, keeps copying new trades and managing all previously opened trades.

Something in your VPS crash was the reason for this abnormal behaviour.

The comments doesn't play any role, but if you didn't had any magic numbers in the EA settings, I mean if you deleted the default setting:

Magic Number: 12345

this is no surprise that the EA couldn't manage its trades after the VPS crashed and restarted.

Please use the default magic number or a magic number of your choice in this setting, never leave it empty.

There are 2 ways of dealing with this:

1. To use the Basket Take Profit % setting, that will close all receiver copied trades if all together combined reach a certain profit percentage. This setting will not disable copying though.

For example if you want all receiver copied trades to close when all combined reach a profit of 5% you should put:

Hello, write to me what is the transmitter symbols and what is the receiver symbol and I will tell you the correct setup.

For example if your transmitter is .DE40Cash and your receiver is DE40 then you need to put in the receiver account settings:

Special Symbol 1: .DE40Cash,DE40

If it is the other way around, you should put:

Special Symbol 1: DE40,.DE40Cash

Have in mind that small and capital letters are important, so write the symbols exactly as they appear in the Marketwatch.
