Gold Shovel


Gold Shovel EA is an Expert Advisor designed specifically for Gold Great British Pound (XAUGBP) on 2 minute time frame chart, built around hedging and controlled recovery of losing trades using a Martingale recovery strategy.

The EA does not simply increase the lot size after every loss. When a trade closes in a loss, it first evaluates the current market conditions using ATR, ADX, and Bollinger Band width. Based on these conditions, the EA determines whether the recovery should be taken on the same side or the opposite side, and then applies the selected recovery lot.

The goal is to give the recovery trade a better opportunity to recover the previous loss while keeping the recovery process controlled and based on market conditions.

Main Features

  • Hedging — Buy and Sell trades can work together as part of the EA's trading and recovery logic.
  • Martingale Recovery — Uses a larger recovery lot after a losing trade to attempt to recover the previous loss.
  • Auto Recovery Mode — Uses ATR, ADX and Bollinger Band width to determine the most suitable recovery direction.
  • Same-Side / Opposite-Side Recovery — The EA can recover in the same direction or switch to the opposite direction depending on market conditions.
  • Reverse Recovery — Optional setting that can reverse the selected recovery direction.
  • Trailing Stop — Available for additional profit protection.
  • Defensive Trailing TP — Can bring the Take Profit closer when a trade is moving toward its Stop Loss, helping reduce the potential loss if price reverses. Off by default.
  • Trading Filters — Allows specific trading days and hours to be selected.
