• Total net profit is 4 533.39, with a profit factor of 3.30 and a recovery factor of 34.74.
• Equity drawdown is 3.64% maximal and 5.13% relative. Balance drawdown is 1.46% maximal and 3.95% relative.
• Of 1448 trades, 94.48% closed in profit, with long trades at 94.59% and short trades at 94.32%.
• The longest losing streak was 2 trades, while LR correlation is 0.98 and the Sharpe ratio is 14.66.

Together, these figures describe a system that grows in a steady line and keeps the account far from danger. That is the profile of a robust edge, not a lucky run.

🔍 Why This Matters: Reading Risk, Not Just Profit
• Real-tick data:
Gold moves fast, and modelled ticks can hide slippage and spikes. A test on 100% real ticks shows how the strategy reacts to the market as it actually traded.

• Equity drawdown tells the truth:
Grid and averaging-down systems can show a clean balance line while equity sinks underneath. Here equity drawdown stays low, so the open risk was never hidden.

• Balanced direction:
Long and short win rates are almost identical. That suggests the logic is not tied to a single market trend, which is a common sign of curve-fitting.
