AstraGuard — Gold Trading EA with AI Chat, Chart Analysis & Trading Controls
AstraGuard is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed primarily for Gold / XAUUSD trading. It combines a programmed trading strategy with a separate AI-assisted workflow, giving you a practical way to review market conditions, discuss trading ideas, manage supported preferences and control execution from an on-chart dashboard.
Some traders prefer a defined strategy. Others want to choose their own direction while receiving help with stop placement and position sizing. Some want an AI-assisted automated workflow that explains what it is watching. AstraGuard brings these approaches into one workspace while keeping their responsibilities and controls separate.
The purpose is straightforward: help you understand what the system is doing, why it is waiting and which conditions must be satisfied before an order can be placed. A visible setup does not automatically mean a trade exists, and an enabled automation switch does not override execution checks.
Limited Launch Offer — Save Up to 60%
- First 3 buyers — 60% OFF: $289.00 USD.
- Next 5 buyers — 30% OFF: $505.75 USD.
- Next 10 buyers — 20% OFF: $578.00 USD.
- After these 18 purchases: $722.50 USD.
AstraGuard is launching with limited early-buyer pricing. The earliest buyers receive the largest discount from the regular price of $722.50 USD.
Each pricing tier ends when its allocated purchases are completed. The current price displayed on the product page is the price payable.
The AstraGuard Control Center software is included free with your EA purchase. AI provider API keys, credits and usage charges are not included.
Please Read Before PurchasingAstraGuard is a Gold-focused product. Its current strategy and independent AI order-validation workflow are designed around XAU / Gold. Do not assume the same settings are appropriate for every forex pair, index or cryptocurrency.
AI features require separate external software. AI chat, AI chart analysis, AI Auto trading and AI-assisted manual requests require the AstraGuard Control Center / Bridge running on your Windows computer.
The Control Center software is included free with your EA purchase. It is supplied separately by the developer and is not automatically installed when you install the Market EA.
You need your own supported AI provider API key and credits. API usage charges are separate from the EA purchase. The free Control Center does not include free provider credits or unlimited AI requests.
AstraGuard does not guarantee profits or successful execution of every requested trade. Review the risk policy, test the intended workflow on demo and understand its operating requirements before using real capital.
What Is Included?
- The AstraGuard MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor.
- An on-chart dashboard for account information, strategy controls and trading status.
- Normal rule-based trading modes focused on Gold.
- A separate AI Auto workspace with Guided and Adaptive controls.
- AI chat and supported preference-memory controls.
- User-directed BUY / SELL requests with AI-assisted protective planning.

Free Control Center Software — How to Receive It
After purchasing AstraGuard, contact the developer through MQL5 private messages or the product comments. Request the included Control Center installer and the corresponding setup instructions.
There is no separate Control Center software purchase required. However, it is a separate Windows installation and must be configured before the AI features can be used.
The Control Center installer does not install, activate or bypass the licensing of a Market EA. Install your authorized EA through its proper distribution channel.
The Bridge connects the EA with the configured AI provider. Keep it running while using AI features. A reachable local Bridge does not, by itself, prove that the provider has sufficient credits or is responding successfully.
Two Entry Engines with Different Responsibilities
AstraGuard separates normal strategy trading from independent AI Auto trading. This distinction matters when interpreting the dashboard or investigating a missing trade.
Normal strategy engine: the EA evaluates its programmed setup conditions and uses the configured strategy, risk and management settings. It does not need an independent AI market decision to operate when configured for deterministic trading.
AI Auto engine: the AI evaluates the supplied market context and proposes its own setup, direction, timing and protective plan. MT5 remains responsible for validating the proposal against the applicable execution rules.
When AI Auto is enabled, normal EA entries are paused to prevent competing entry engines. Existing positions continue their applicable protective management while the EA remains attached and running.
A normal strategy setup displaying NONE does not, by itself, mean an independent AI setup is prohibited. Equally, an AI chart idea does not mean the normal strategy has generated an entry.
Normal Gold Strategy Modes
The rule-based workspace provides three programmed approaches:
- Safe / Selective: a selective strategy mode for traders who prefer a more filtered operating approach.
- Scalper / Active: a mode intended for shorter-term Gold setups using its configured execution context.
- EMA Ribbon / Flip: a mode built around the programmed EMA-ribbon transition logic and its confirmation requirements.
These modes are not promises of a specific trade frequency, win rate or return. The EA may remain inactive when the required conditions are absent or an account, market or broker restriction prevents execution.
Changing a normal strategy mode is different from changing the AI trading style. Use the controls belonging to the entry engine you intend to operate.
AI Auto Trading — Analysis with Explicit Authorization
AI Auto is designed for traders who want an AI-assisted entry workflow rather than only a written market commentary. Once explicitly authorized, it can evaluate setups and submit eligible orders without requiring a separate button confirmation for every Auto trade.
Before starting, review the account information, requirements, selected style, entry timeframe and effective limits. Opening the AI dashboard or loading a preset is not new permission to trade.
AI automation may retain its saved ON permission across an ordinary restart or reinitialization. If you do not want it to resume, pause new entries before restarting, updating or reattaching the EA.
Retained permission does not authorize the reuse of an old signal. A fresh analysis and the relevant execution checks are still required.
Guided Mode — Review Supported Protection Changes
Guided mode is intended for traders who want to review supported protection-setting suggestions before applying them.
The dashboard distinguishes a proposed change from an applied change. Inspect the proposal and use the relevant confirmation control when you agree with it.
Guided mode does not mean every Auto trade requires manual confirmation. If AI Auto trading has been explicitly enabled, eligible Auto orders can still execute under that authorization.
Trading permission and permission to change supported protection settings are separate responsibilities. Review both before starting.
Adaptive Mode — Bounded Adjustments, Not Unlimited Control
Adaptive mode permits supported protection adjustments to be applied automatically when the available evidence and configured hard limits allow them.
This is not unrestricted authority over every EA input, every open position or the broker's requirements. An AI suggestion cannot create valid margin, bypass an unsupported lot size or make an invalid protective stop acceptable.
Settings intended for future entries do not silently replace every open trade's captured management policy. Existing positions retain the applicable policy associated with their entry.
Adaptive suggestions should not be interpreted as proven improvements. A short trade history is not enough to establish reliable learning or a lasting statistical advantage.
Review Schedule and Entry Timeframe
The AI dashboard allows review schedules of 1, 3, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Recurring reviews follow the corresponding broker candle close after the necessary fresh, synchronized data becomes available.
A countdown reaching zero does not, on its own, prove that the next broker candle is ready for analysis. Missing history or delayed quotes may postpone a valid review.
ENTRY TF is selected separately from the review schedule and the visible chart timeframe. It determines the entry evidence and volatility context used by the supported workflow.
For example, a one-minute review schedule may still watch an M5 close when that particular setup requires M5 confirmation. Read the exact tracked timeframe and condition rather than assuming all reviews must lead to immediate entries.
Start, recovery and changes to tracked confirmation conditions may cause an earlier fresh review. Changing entry context or style can discard incompatible pending analysis.
AI Trading Styles
The supported style selector guides analysis toward Scalper, Intraday, Swing or Auto behavior.
Style is analysis guidance, not a guarantee of an entry or a fixed holding period. The actual decision depends on the supplied market context, the proposed setup and the effective execution restrictions.
Review frequency and style also affect provider usage. More frequent reviews can create more API requests without necessarily creating more valid trades.
Understand Why the AI Did Not Trade
AstraGuard presents decision information so that waiting is not simply an unexplained absence of orders. The workspace can show the current status, the next condition being watched and a short explanation.
- WAIT: no complete executable setup is currently available.
- WAITING CONFIRMATION: a defined confirmation condition is being watched.
- CONDITIONAL / NOT ARMED: a possible location needs additional evidence or reassessment.
- ARMED: a validated local trigger plan is authorized for monitoring.
- CONNECTION WAIT: the required analysis connection is temporarily unavailable.
- ENTRY BLOCKED: a data, account, risk or broker check prevents execution.
Use FULL DECISION when you need more context than the compact status panel can display. A valid reason to wait is part of the workflow, not evidence that the system must be forced to trade.
Local Trigger Monitoring Between AI Reviews
The AI does not need to make a new provider request on every market tick. A complete, authorized local trigger plan can be monitored by MT5 between scheduled AI reviews.
An armed plan includes a measurable trigger together with its invalidation, expiry and permitted execution deviation. If the plan becomes invalid or expires, it cannot silently renew itself as a fresh authorization.
A trigger being met still requires current-price, spread, risk, margin and broker checks. A missed entry should not be chased simply because an earlier analysis suggested it.
These local plans are not automatically broker pending orders. Check the actual MT5 order and position records to confirm what has been submitted or filled.
Chart Analysis and Visual Trade Ideas
The analysis workflow can display useful visual context such as market structure, potential liquidity areas, fair value gaps, zones, key levels and proposed entry, stop-loss and target locations.
Drawings help explain an idea, but they do not prove institutional activity or guarantee a future reaction. They are analytical annotations based on the available evidence.
A sell idea below the current price may represent a breakdown condition rather than a Sell Limit. A buy idea above or below the market may also require a particular trigger or reassessment. Read the condition and tooltip instead of treating a horizontal line as an executable order.
Actual-position drawings should be checked against the broker's position entry, SL and TP. The broker record remains authoritative.
Keep the Chart Readable
Unneeded, invalidated or aged analysis may be removed or marked stale. A fresh review may replace earlier ideas as the market changes.
HOLD DRAWINGS lets you freeze eligible analysis drawings for inspection. Releasing the hold resumes their normal updates.
Holding analysis drawings does not pause trading and does not freeze live position protection. It is a visual control, not a trading control.
REFRESH DRAWINGS requests fresh AI analysis and may use billable provider tokens. It does not, by itself, authorize a new order.
Manual BUY / SELL — You Choose the Direction
The BUY (AI) and SELL (AI) buttons are for explicit user-directed requests. You choose the direction; AI assists with an immediate protective SL/TP plan, and MT5 calculates the applicable broker-valid lot size.
This workflow is useful when you have your own directional decision but want the supported planning and execution checks applied to the request.
It is not an unconditional fixed-lot one-click panel. Clicking the button authorizes one guarded attempt only when a complete fresh plan and the required execution checks pass.
The AI may explain concerns about your selected direction. It cannot invent a protective stop or bypass hard restrictions merely to satisfy a request.
Manual requests pause autonomous AI entries. Wait for the result instead of repeatedly clicking. Re-enable Auto explicitly when you intend to resume it.
CANCEL discards pending authorization; it cannot undo an order that has already been submitted or filled.
AI Chat and Supported Preference Memory
Use the chat workspace to ask about market conditions, discuss a trade idea or communicate supported preferences for future Auto entries.
Supported preferences can include direction constraints, a minimum reward-to-risk requirement and approach guidance. Review the preview before applying a change.
- SESSION: applies supported preferences temporarily, until reinitialization.
- REMEMBER: saves supported preferences for later sessions.
- Memory controls: help you inspect which supported preferences are active or saved.
Not every free-text request becomes an enforceable setting. A written answer is not proof that the requested change was applied. Hard execution restrictions remain in force.
Use LONG QUESTION when you need a longer draft. Saving text in the local editor is not the same as sending it to the provider.
Account-Aware Lot Calculation
AstraGuard uses the applicable risk policy and protective stop distance when calculating a position size. MT5 broker calculations, volume steps and available margin determine whether that size can be executed.
Account balance alone is not enough to establish a suitable lot. The contract specification, stop distance, account currency and broker minimum volume also matter.
A small account may not support even the minimum lot at an appropriate protective stop. In that situation, a trade can be declined.
The system should not remove protection or tighten a stop merely to make a desired volume fit the account.
Important: Current AI Risk Ceiling
The current AI balance-risk policy can allow nominal SL risk up to 20% of the current account balance per AI or AI-assisted manual trade.
This is a high-risk ceiling, not a target, a safe recommendation or a guaranteed maximum loss. Review the effective policy before enabling AI or submitting a manual request.
Where permitted by the explicitly authorized policy, the broker minimum lot may require the least necessary increase above the initially chosen risk. An entry must still remain within the applicable ceiling and other independent restrictions.
Normal EA risk settings are separate from this AI policy. Guided and Adaptive mode buttons do not, by themselves, remove the balance-risk ceiling or other account protections.
Daily or session protections can restrict trading even when the proposed position fits the per-trade ceiling. A smaller daily limit does not mean an open trade is guaranteed to lose no more than that amount.
Commissions, slippage, market gaps and execution conditions can increase actual losses beyond the nominal risk calculated at the SL. Several losing trades at high risk can cause severe capital loss.
Protective Position Management
Depending on the selected workflow and captured settings, AstraGuard supports protective SL/TP, break-even, trailing and partial or multi-target management.
Account type matters. Netting accounts hold an aggregate position, while hedging accounts can hold separate positions. Broker volume and stop restrictions also affect what management operations are possible.
Break-even is a price-level adjustment; it does not necessarily cover all commissions, spread or execution costs. Trailing management cannot guarantee that a market will fill at the requested protective price.
Open positions require the EA to remain running for EA-side management. Broker-held SL/TP are distinct from local trailing and other EA functions.
Start, Pause and Resume Clearly
The normal EA and AI Auto have separate entry controls. Check which engine is enabled rather than assuming a single OFF status stops every possible workflow.
In the AI workspace, AUTOMATION ON / PAUSE indicates that Auto permission is ON and the button can pause new AI entries. AUTOMATION OFF / ENABLE indicates that it is OFF.
A temporary connection or budget wait can retain ON permission while blocking new entries. Retained permission is not evidence that an order can currently execute.
PAUSE is not CLOSE ALL. Existing positions continue their applicable management while the EA runs. Removing the EA stops local management; inspect open positions before doing so.
AI Provider Connections and Usage Costs
The Control Center supports configured connections to OpenAI, Gemini and DeepSeek. Model availability and successful requests depend on your provider account, credentials, credits and configuration.
AstraGuard is an independent product. Compatibility with these providers does not imply an official partnership or endorsement.
Provider requests may charge for input and output tokens. Repeated reviews, manual requests, chat messages and drawing refreshes can add usage costs.
The current default output cap is 1536 tokens per provider call. This is not a total-token cap or a guaranteed dollar cost per request; input tokens remain separate.
Daily API cost and request guards are separate from trading-loss limits. If a reply is incomplete or the applicable budget is unavailable, an order proposal may be discarded or blocked rather than executed partially.
Languages and Buyer Documentation
AstraGuard includes a 20-language UI catalogue and AI reply-language preferences. The initial setup selection can set a shared language, while the dedicated selectors allow UI and reply preferences to be adjusted separately.
Technical identifiers, broker data and external error messages may remain unchanged. Non-English UI translations are machine-generated and can contain terminology or layout imperfections.
The built-in Buyer Guide explains installation, entry engines, risk sizing, manual requests, chart controls, saved preferences, research and troubleshooting. Read it before enabling trading.
Historical Testing and Optimization
MT5 Strategy Tester evaluates the deterministic strategy. External AI WebRequest analysis does not run inside Strategy Tester, so those historical results do not validate live AI decision-making or provider behavior.
The optional research workflow uses a separate dedicated tester. A reviewed proposal identifies the intended dates, symbol, deposit, preset and research settings before confirmation.
One-time broker login, history preparation and authorized EA installation may be required in that separate terminal. Do not copy credentials or licensing data to bypass activation.
Optimized settings are research candidates, not automatically better live settings. Evaluate them on unseen data and through demo-forward testing before considering real-money use.
A successful compile, historical backtest or platform validation is not proof of profitability.
Recommended Setup Procedure
- Start on demo. Use the broker and account type you intend to evaluate.
- Select the exact Gold symbol. Match InpTradeSymbol to the intended broker instrument, including any suffix.
- Install the authorized EA. Complete the setup wizard and inspect effective settings.
- Obtain the free Control Center. Request the separate installer through MQL5 messages or product comments.
- Configure your provider. Enter your own supported API key, choose a model and start the Bridge.
- Configure MT5 WebRequest. Allow the exact Bridge URL specified by the EA inputs.
- Prepare the required history. Ensure the entry, setup and bias timeframes have synchronized data.
- Choose one intended entry engine. Review its authorization, risk and management policy.
- Observe the decisions. Check statuses, actual orders and positions rather than relying only on drawings.
- Evaluate before going live. Confirm behavior, usage costs and account suitability on demo.
When a Trade Is Not Placed
A missing order can have several explanations: no complete setup, unmet confirmation, stale quotes, missing history, unavailable provider access, API budget limits, excessive spread, insufficient margin, unsupported volume or a protective stop that violates broker restrictions.
Read the specific status and FULL DECISION. A connected broker terminal and a connected local Bridge do not guarantee that every other dependency is ready.
Do not disable protections simply to make a trade appear. Resolve the stated cause and request a fresh review where appropriate.
Who Is AstraGuard For?
AstraGuard is intended for Gold traders who want a structured workspace combining a programmed EA, conversational AI assistance, understandable analysis and explicit trading controls.
It can suit traders who want to compare a rule-based workflow with an independent AI workflow, or choose their own manual direction while using supported protective planning and lot calculation.
It is not suitable for buyers expecting guaranteed income, unrestricted AI control, identical performance across all instruments or AI features that work without external software and provider access.
Support and Troubleshooting
For the included Control Center installer, setup assistance or troubleshooting, contact the developer through MQL5 private messages or the product comments.
Provide the EA and Bridge versions, the exact error, relevant settings and a sanitized Journal or decision report. This is more useful than a screenshot of an ON button alone.
Never send passwords or API keys. Keep sensitive account and provider information private.
Before an update, pause new entries, inspect open positions and follow the matching EA / Bridge installation instructions. Recheck effective settings and permissions after updating.
Final Trading Notice
Trading involves substantial risk. AstraGuard does not guarantee profits, a particular win rate, loss recovery or protection from every adverse market event.
Both programmed strategies and AI decisions can be wrong. Provider availability, market conditions and broker execution can change. Analytical drawings and explanations are not promises of future performance.
Use settings you understand, test the intended workflow on demo and risk only capital you can afford to lose.
AstraGuard brings Gold strategy trading, AI conversation, visual analysis and controlled execution into one MT5 workspace—so you can review the process, understand the conditions and remain responsible for the trading permissions you grant.
