Quantum Legend is built on slow-trend following — the classic trend-tracking discipline used by long-horizon systematic funds, adapted for the intraday Gold market.

Built on Slow-Trend Following
Quantum Legend analyzes XAUUSD on the M15 (15-minute) timeframe and tracks the relationship between a fast and a slow moving average to read trend direction.

Fast average above slow average → uptrend → the EA is positioned long (default).

Fast average below slow average → the trend has turned → the position is exited.

Higher-timeframe confirmation → an independent trend filter on a higher timeframe (default H12) gates entries, so the EA only trades in the direction of the larger trend.

Precision From Entry to Exit
The defining feature of Quantum Legend is a volatility-aware trailing exit — a chandelier-style stop that follows the market's own volatility rather than a fixed price level.
Most Expert Advisors pin a stop to an arbitrary price. Quantum Legend's trailing distance is derived from the Average True Range (ATR): as the trend matures and volatility expands, the stop adapts automatically.
The exit is decisive: when price breaks the trailing level — or when the fast and slow averages cross against the position — the trade is closed, in profit or in loss, exactly as the strategy dictates.
Selective by Design
Quantum Legend is not designed to chase every bar. It does not measure its strength by the number of trades it opens.
A higher-timeframe trend filter keeps it aligned with the larger market direction. Optional seasonal, session, overnight and news filters keep it out of known weak or noisy periods. An overheat guard tightens the trailing stop when momentum becomes stretched, protecting open profit.
