One trade. Every account. Same risk.
Trade on your master account. Fanout mirrors every entry, exit, partial close and stop-loss move to all your other MT5 accounts — prop firm or live — sized correctly for each one.
How it works
- Attach Fanout with Role = Master to the account you trade.
- Attach Fanout with Role = Slave to every account that should copy.
- Trade as usual — from the terminal, the web terminal or the MT5 mobile app. Every slave realigns in about 100 ms.
All terminals run on the same computer or VPS. No external server, no passwords handed to third parties.
Same risk on accounts of different sizes
- Balance ratio — master lots × slave balance ÷ master balance. A 1% risk on a 10k master is a 1% risk on a 100k slave.
- Risk % — lots sized so the master's stop loss costs exactly X% of the slave balance.
- Multiplier and Fixed lot.
- Optional maximum lot per position; no copy can tie up more than half of the free margin.
Built for prop-firm rules
- Daily loss guard — reference = balance at the start of the broker day (rebuilt from history if you attach mid-day). Stop new copies or close all copies before the firm's limit.
- Overall loss guard from your initial account size.
- Maximum open copies per account.
- No reverse copying by default — opposite positions across accounts are forbidden by most prop firms.
Accurate copying
- SL/TP at the same distance from entry (or same price, or not copied) — correct even when brokers quote slightly different prices. Breakeven on the master is breakeven on every copy.
- Proportional partial closes — close 50% on the master, every copy closes 50%.
- Symbol matching — XAUUSD, XAUUSD.r, XAUUSDm, GOLD: suffixes are found automatically, plus a symbol map for fully different names.
Safety first
- If the master stops or disconnects, slaves freeze: nothing is opened or closed until it is back.
- A copy closed by its own stop loss is never reopened, not even after a VPS restart.
- A position must be missing from two consecutive master reads before copies are closed.
- Master positions older than 30 s (configurable) are not copied, to avoid late entries.
- Slaves refuse to start copying if the channel suddenly carries a different master account.
Clear on-chart panel
Connection status, master positions, open copies, slaves connected, daily and overall limit usage, last event.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5, hedging accounts (the mode prop firms use on MT5).
- Master and slaves on the same computer or VPS. To copy 24/7, use a Windows VPS.
- Enable Algo Trading in every terminal.
Strategy Tester: copying needs live terminals, so in the tester Fanout runs a short demo mode with minimum-lot trades. To try real copying on your own accounts, rent Fanout for one month.
Input parameters
- Role — Master on the account you trade, Slave on every account that copies
- Channel — same name on master and slaves; use different channels for independent groups
- Master account number — 0 = lock to the first master found
- Freeze copies if master is silent for (s) — default 10
- Lot sizing — Balance ratio, Risk %, Multiplier or Fixed lot
- Multiplier / Fixed lot / Risk % / Max lot — sizing parameters
- Skip master positions older than (s) — avoids late entries, default 30
- Max slippage (points) — default 30
- SL/TP copy — same distance from entry, same price, or not copied
- Reverse direction — off by default; never use on prop firms
- Symbol map / prefix / suffix — e.g. XAUUSD=GOLD, US30=DJ30
- Initial account size, daily and overall loss % — prop-firm guards; set them below the firm's limits
- When a limit is hit — block new copies, or block and close all copies
- Max open copies — 0 = no limit
- Copy only this magic number — master side, -1 = all
- Magic number of copies — change it if you run two slaves on the same account
Risk disclaimer
- Fanout is a trade-copying utility. It does not generate signals, does not trade on its own and is not financial or investment advice.
- Trading leveraged products such as forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Copying a trade to several accounts multiplies both gains and losses.
- Copies may differ from the master because of slippage, broker prices, spreads, execution speed, connection quality and symbol settings. Results on each account can differ.
- The daily and overall loss guards reduce risk but are not a guarantee: price gaps, slippage or a stopped computer can push losses beyond the limits you set.
- Use Fanout only between accounts you own and within the rules of your broker or prop firm. Many firms forbid copying from or to other people and opposite positions across accounts.
- Test Fanout on demo accounts before using it on live or funded accounts. The computer or VPS running the terminals must stay on for copying to work.
- Fanout is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any broker or prop firm.
