Neural Confluence Trader is a fully automated Expert Advisor built around a single-layer, perceptron-style neural scoring model. Instead of relying on one indicator's signal in isolation, it combines four independent market readings — RSI, MACD, Stochastic, and ADX/DMI — into a single weighted "confluence score" between -1 and +1, similar in spirit to how a simple neural network node combines weighted inputs. A trade is only opened when this composite score crosses a configurable threshold in either direction, filtering out signals that only one indicator agrees with.
This is a native MQL5 implementation of weighted multi-indicator confluence scoring. No external DLLs, network calls, or third-party AI services are used or required — the EA is 100% self-contained and safe to run on any MQL5 Market-compliant VPS.
How the Neural Score Works
- RSI activation: normalized distance from the neutral 50 level (-1 to +1)
- MACD activation: MACD main/signal difference, normalized by ATR so it adapts to each symbol's volatility
- Stochastic activation: normalized distance of %K from the neutral 50 level
- ADX-weighted directional activation: the +DI/-DI imbalance, scaled by trend strength from ADX (a strong trend amplifies the directional vote; a weak/ranging market dampens it)
- Composite score = weighted sum of all four activations (default weight 0.25 each, adjustable)
- Buy when the score rises to/above the threshold; Sell when it falls to/below the negative threshold

Input Parameters
- Magic Number — unique identifier for this EA's trades
- Time Frame — timeframe used for all indicator calculations (default H1)
- Max Spread (points) — trades are skipped when the current spread exceeds this value
- RSI Period — default 14
- MACD Fast/Slow/Signal — default 12/26/9
- Stochastic %K/%D/Slowing — default 5/3/3
- ADX Period — default 14
- Weight RSI / MACD / Stochastic / ADX — default 0.25 each (should sum to 1.0)
- MACD ATR Normalization Factor — controls how MACD's raw value is scaled into the -1..+1 range
- Score Threshold — minimum absolute composite score required to open a trade (default 0.5)
- ATR Period — default 14
- Stop Loss (ATR multiple) — default 1.5
- Take Profit (ATR multiple) — default 2.5
- Lot Size — fixed trade volume
- Use Trailing Stop — enable/disable ATR trailing
- Trailing Start / Step (ATR multiple) — default 1.0 / 0.5
Recommendations
