Volatility Aggression FlowMatrix
Volatility Aggression FlowMatrix is a quantitative market analysis indicator for MetaTrader 5 designed to transform volatility, directional pressure and market context into synthetic Flow Candles.
Its analytical engine evaluates market activity through a combination of volatility behavior, directional aggression, delta, cumulative directional flow, cluster intensity, absorption, liquidity sweeps, divergence and contextual scoring. The indicator also includes Flow-based Support and Resistance, an Anchored Flow VWAP, daily Flow levels and multi-horizon VA Intent analysis.
Although its interface and visual identity intentionally follow the same product-family design as VWAP Candles Matrix, the two indicators use completely different internal engines and signal-generation logic.
VWAP Candles Matrix is centered on synthetic VWAP candles and volume-weighted price interpretation.
Volatility Aggression FlowMatrix, on the other hand, uses its own analytical model focused on volatility-normalized behavior, directional pressure, aggression, cumulative flow, clusters, absorption, liquidity sweeps, divergence and market context.
Therefore, the signals generated by Volatility Aggression FlowMatrix are independent from those generated by VWAP Candles Matrix.
Synthetic Flow Candles
The indicator converts its internal calculations into synthetic Flow Candles, providing a dedicated view of changes in market pressure and activity.
This representation helps visualize:
- directional strength;
- volatility expansion and contraction;
- aggression intensity;
- cumulative directional pressure;
- market imbalance;
- rejection and absorption behavior;
- changes in Flow structure.
Volatility Aggression Engine
The core engine analyzes how current price behavior compares with its recent market environment.
Instead of treating all price movements equally, it evaluates directional displacement, candle efficiency, closing position, relative volatility and contextual behavior.
The objective is to identify whether current conditions show stronger buying pressure, stronger selling pressure or a more balanced market environment.
Delta and Cumulative Flow
The indicator maintains internal measurements of directional flow and cumulative pressure.
These components are used to evaluate whether current market movement is being supported by internal Flow conditions or whether directional strength is beginning to weaken.
The original analytical structure explicitly incorporates delta and cumulative-flow/CVD-related behavior.
Cluster, Absorption and Liquidity Analysis
Volatility Aggression FlowMatrix also evaluates concentrated market activity through cluster and pre-cluster conditions.
Its analytical model includes:
- cluster intensity;
- absorption conditions;
- rejection behavior;
- liquidity sweep detection;
- divergence analysis;
- contextual scoring.
These conditions are used as parts of a broader analytical environment rather than isolated standalone signals.
Flow Support and Resistance
The indicator generates Support and Resistance structures from its internal Flow environment.
These levels can also be projected onto the main price chart, helping identify areas where the internal Flow structure may be interacting with market price.
Anchored Flow VWAP
An interactive Anchored Flow VWAP is included as an additional analytical tool.
It operates on the indicator's internal Flow structure and can be anchored to a selected historical point.
This feature is independent from the main calculation model and does not make the indicator a variation of VWAP Candles Matrix.
VA Intent Multi-Horizon Analysis
The indicator includes a dedicated VA Intent engine with five analytical horizons:
D1 · H4 · H1 · M15 · M5
Each horizon is derived from the internal FlowMatrix structure and provides a different level of response to changes in market behavior.
Dedicated BUY and SELL Intent outputs are also available.
Signal Logic
The signal engine combines information generated by the Volatility Aggression model.
Signals are therefore based on the interaction between several analytical components rather than a simple crossover or single-condition trigger.
Confirmed historical entry markers are based on closed candles, while the current forming bar can continue updating analytical values intrabar.
Performance and Historical Processing
The indicator uses progressive historical calculation and incremental real-time processing.
Recent data is processed first, while older historical information is expanded when required. The internal architecture is designed to preserve already-calculated recent candles during progressive history growth.
This approach helps reduce unnecessary historical recalculation during live operation and Strategy Tester execution.
