Gold Trend Coach

Gold Trend Coach is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed primarily for XAUUSD trading. The system uses a closed M5 bar as the main decision point and combines multi-timeframe market structure, trend direction, supply and demand zones, momentum and reversal evidence.

Trading approach

The EA uses a strategic trend engine to determine the dominant market direction and a continuation engine to search for additional entries when the trend remains valid.

Higher-timeframe information is used to evaluate market context, including H4, H1, M30 and M15 structure. The main execution decision is made from completed M5 data.

BUY and SELL entries are not generated from a single indicator. The system combines several conditions including:

• Market trend and EMA structure
• Supply and demand zones
• Price structure and break/reclaim behavior
• Momentum confirmation
• Swing and reversal evidence
• Sideways market filtering
• Higher-timeframe directional authority

The EA does not use Martingale or Grid position scaling.

Order management

Entry signals are evaluated only after an M5 candle has closed. Risk and profit protection are managed separately using live broker prices.

After a position is opened, the EA monitors executable Bid and Ask prices on every tick. Protective management therefore does not need to wait for the next M5 candle to close.

The order management system includes:

• Structural Stop Loss
• Break-even protection
• Progressive Stop Loss profit locking
• Multi-level TP progression
• Same-direction exposure control
• Protection before additional same-direction entries
• Automatic management of active positions
• Strategic exit when the higher-timeframe market direction changes

When two same-direction positions are active, the EA can manage them independently as a profit-harvesting position and a trend-running position. This feature requires a hedging account.

Broker-based execution

Live trading uses the symbol specifications supplied by the connected MetaTrader 5 broker, including point size, tick size, volume step, stop level, filling mode and margin requirements.

The EA also verifies broker position information after trade operations so that live order management and the dashboard remain synchronized with actual broker positions.

Dashboard

Gold Trend Coach includes an on-chart dashboard showing information such as:

• Account balance and equity
• Floating profit or loss
• Current drawdown
• Active BUY and SELL positions
• Position volume
• Current TP progress
• Break-even and profit-lock status
• Higher-timeframe direction
• Closed trade statistics from broker history

The dashboard is informational only and does not generate trading permission.

The EA can be attached to a chart while its internal trading decision engine continues to process M5 data.

Use one EA instance for each Symbol and Magic Number combination.

Important information

Price feeds, spreads, execution conditions, symbol specifications and historical data can differ between brokers. For this reason, entry prices, signals and trading results can also differ between brokers.

Before using the EA on a live account, test it in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account using the intended broker and trading conditions.
