Arbiter Overlord Gold is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5.

The system is built around a simple principle:

Not every signal deserves execution.

Instead of relying on one entry model or allowing every detected opportunity to trade, Arbiter Overlord Gold combines several internal strategy engines with a higher-level market-state permission layer.

The Expert Advisor analyzes market direction, persistence, volatility conditions and higher-timeframe context before deciding which internal trading models are allowed to participate.

The objective is selective and controlled execution rather than constant market activity.

How the system works

Arbiter Overlord Gold uses a multi-stage execution architecture.

First, several internal strategy engines analyze XAUUSD across different market conditions and timeframes.

A higher-level Overlord market-state layer then determines whether the current environment is suitable for selected strategy families.

When more than one valid opportunity exists, the Arbiter evaluates priority and manages which trading thesis receives execution authority.

This structure allows different trading models to operate under the conditions for which they were designed instead of forcing one strategy to trade every type of market.

Main features

Market-state permission

Selected strategy engines only become active when their required market conditions are present. This includes analysis of directional persistence, volatility behaviour and higher-timeframe alignment.

Multiple internal strategy engines

The Expert Advisor contains several independent trading models designed for different XAUUSD market conditions.

The user does not need to select or manage these models manually.

Multi-timeframe analysis

Arbiter Overlord Gold is attached to an XAUUSD M5 chart while internally evaluating information from M5 through higher timeframes.

Central thesis arbitration

When several internal models detect opportunities, the system evaluates priority before execution instead of automatically opening multiple overlapping positions.

One active position per symbol

The production configuration maintains one active Arbiter Overlord Gold position on XAUUSD at a time.

This helps avoid unnecessary duplication of exposure.

Strategy-specific trade management

Different internal trading models retain their own stop-distance and target structures.

The Expert Advisor does not force every strategy to use identical trade management.

Equity-based risk sizing

Position size is calculated using account equity, the selected risk percentage and the stop distance of the active strategy.

The default risk setting is 0.5%.

Actual volume remains subject to the broker's minimum lot size and symbol specifications.

Broker-aware execution

Order construction takes MetaTrader symbol specifications, volume restrictions and minimum stop requirements into account.

Market-closure recovery

If a valid order cannot be opened because the market is closed, the Expert Advisor can retain the opportunity for a limited period based on the original signal timeframe.

Expired opportunities are not kept indefinitely.

Restart recovery

The Expert Advisor can recover management information for its own existing position after terminal restart or Expert Advisor reinitialization.

Protection from unrelated positions

If another position already exists on XAUUSD and is not owned by Arbiter Overlord Gold, the Expert Advisor can avoid opening a new position over it.

This reduces unintended interaction with manual trades or other Expert Advisors.

Standalone operation

No external custom indicator is required through iCustom.

The analytical and execution logic required by the system is contained inside the Expert Advisor.

Closed-bar processing

Trading decisions use completed market information where required by the internal strategy engines.

Research approach

Arbiter Overlord Gold was developed using extended XAUUSD historical testing across both older and more recent market environments.

Development included:

• long-period Strategy Tester research;
• separation of older and newer market periods;
• individual strategy-engine analysis;
• realistic Bid and Ask execution modelling;
• spread-sensitive testing;
• broker-side order execution validation;
• removal or restriction of models that did not remain stable across broader testing;
• market-state qualification before additional strategy engines were admitted to the final architecture.

For Netting accounts, avoid combining Arbiter Overlord Gold with manual XAUUSD trading or another Expert Advisor on the same symbol because MetaTrader combines same-symbol exposure into one net position.

Broker symbol names may differ, such as XAUUSD, XAUUSDm or XAUUSD.a.

Spread, execution, commission, swap, contract specifications and historical data can differ between brokers and can affect results.
