AuraSAR

AuraSAR is a fully automated Expert Advisor for XAUUSD on M5. It combines Parabolic SAR trend detection with a controlled martingale recovery grid, closing all trades together when a unified profit target is reached.

Backtest results (Jan-Jun 2026, XAUUSD M5, 100% real ticks): net profit +$27,622 from $8,591 starting balance, win rate 63.95% across 7,195 trades, profit factor 1.76, Sharpe ratio 5.60, recovery factor 3.21, maximum balance drawdown 3.80%, LR Correlation 1.00.

How it works

The EA reads Parabolic SAR on M5 and waits for a configurable number of consecutive dots confirming the trend before entering. Once confirmed, it opens a position at the base lot size. If price moves against the position by a set distance, the next martingale level opens with a slightly larger lot. When the combined profit of all open positions reaches the target, all positions close simultaneously and the cycle resets.

Features

Session filter restricts new entries to London, New York, and/or Asia sessions with configurable hours. Martingale continuation always runs to protect open cycles. An optional stop loss per position can be enabled by setting StopLossPoints above zero. An optional equity drawdown guard closes all positions and halts trading if equity drops below a set percentage from balance. An optional daily loss limit stops trading for the day if a defined loss amount is reached, resetting automatically the next day. A real-time dashboard shows symbol, spread with color warning, session status, martingale level, total floating profit, daily P&L, drawdown percentage, and EA state.

Main parameters: SAR_Step 0.02, SAR_Maximum 0.2, SAR_ConfirmDots 3, BaseLot 0.01, LotIncrement 0.01, MaxLevel 20, MartingaleGap 3500, ProfitTargetUSD 10.0. All protection parameters default to 0 (disabled).

Recommended setup: XAUUSD M5, minimum balance $500 for default lot settings, ECN/STP broker with spread below 30 points on XAUUSD.
