HOW IT WORKS
Meridian Trend tracks price through a volatility-adaptive envelope that ratchets strictly in the trend direction:
• In a bullish trend, the envelope locks upward — it can rise but never fall
• In a bearish trend, the envelope locks downward — it can fall but never rise
• At a reversal, a momentum-gated crossover confirms the direction change — the ribbon flips and an arrow marks the bar
The momentum gate is the critical layer. Raw price crossovers generate false signals in sideways markets. Meridian requires directional pressure to be genuine before the ribbon changes state. The result is fewer signals, higher quality.
