VWAP Volume Profile Price Action EA

This Expert Advisor combines session VWAP, a bar-based volume profile, price action patterns and an optional higher-timeframe trend filter. It supports session-hour filtering and optional grid management with configurable limits. The on-chart dashboard displays trend, setup and filter status.

STRATEGY COMPONENTS
- Session VWAP calculated from the current trading day.
- Volume profile levels (POC, VAH and VAL) estimated from recent chart bars and tick volume.
- Bullish and bearish engulfing and pin bar checks with a tick-volume condition.
- Optional higher-timeframe EMA and market-structure filter.
- Spread and trading-session filters. Trading sessions can cross midnight.
- Optional ATR-based stop loss, take profit, break-even and trailing stop when grid mode is disabled.
- Optional grid position management with layer and total-volume limits, basket take profit and basket cut loss.

ECONOMIC NEWS FILTER
On a live chart, the filter uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar and can block initial entries around selected currencies and event importance levels. Calendar functions are unavailable in the Strategy Tester. For historical testing, enable InpUseHistoricalNewsFile and provide the CSV file in the terminal Common Files folder. CSV columns: date,time,currency,importance. Use broker server time and importance values 1 (low), 2 (moderate), or 3 (high). If the file cannot be opened while the news filter is enabled in the Strategy Tester, initial entries are blocked and the dashboard displays NEWS: CSV REQUIRED. MQL5 Market distributes this product as one EX5 file; historical CSV data is not included.

- InpLotSize: initial order volume.
- InpUseGrid: enable or disable grid management.
- InpMaxLayers and InpMaxTotalLot: cap grid exposure.
- InpBasketTP_Money and InpBasketCL_Money: basket profit and loss thresholds in account currency.
- InpUseHTF, InpHTF and InpHTF_MA_Period: higher-timeframe trend filter.
- InpUseTimeFilter, InpStartHour and InpEndHour: trading window in broker server time. Equal start and end hours mean 24-hour trading.
- InpUseNewsFilter, InpNewsMinutesBefore, InpNewsMinutesAfter, InpNewsMinImportance and InpNewsCurrencies: economic news settings.
- InpUseHistoricalNewsFile and InpHistoricalNewsFile: historical CSV mode for Strategy Tester.
- InpMaxSpreadPoints: maximum spread allowed for a new initial entry.
