WTI Pullback EA
A disciplined trend-pullback Expert Advisor built specifically for WTI crude oil (USOIL / XTIUSD / WTI) on the H1 timeframe.
The EA waits for the market to be in a clear trend, then waits for a pullback, and only enters when price closes back in the trend direction during the most liquid session. Instead of chasing the market, it places a limit order at a better price, so every trade starts with a smaller risk.
------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: THIS EA TRADES RARELY
------------------------------------------------------------
This is NOT a high-frequency or scalping EA.
- It only trades when trend, pullback and session all line up.
- Expect around 1 to 3 setups per week. Some weeks there will be no trade at all.
- Not every setup gets filled: if price runs away before reaching the limit price, the order is cancelled. No chasing.
Please be patient and judge the EA over months, not days.
------------------------------------------------------------
HOW IT WORKS
------------------------------------------------------------
Signal
- Trend filter: EMA 50 above EMA 200 for buys (below for sells), and price on the trend side of EMA 50.
- Pullback trigger: candle closes back above EMA 20 after a pullback (below for sells).
- Session filter: entries only during the active session (server time, adjustable).
- Same-direction signals are ignored while the previous setup is still active.
Entry
- Limit order at 25% of the stop distance better than the signal price.
- Valid for 6 hours, cancelled automatically if price reaches TP1 first.
- Market entry mode is also available.
Exit (2 legs)
- Stop loss: 1.5 x ATR(14), placed for both legs.
- Leg 1 (50%): take profit at TP1 (1R).
- Leg 2 (50%): take profit at TP2 (2R). When price reaches TP1, the stop of leg 2 moves to break-even, so the rest of the trade is risk-free.
- Every trade has a stop loss. No martingale, no grid, no averaging, no hedging tricks.
------------------------------------------------------------
DASHBOARD
------------------------------------------------------------
A clean status card shows exactly what the EA is doing:
- Waiting for signal / limit pending (price, pips to go, cancel countdown) / trade running / TP1 hit / signal done
- Leg 1 and Leg 2 status with an SL > Entry > TP1 > TP2 progress bar
- Profit for Today, This week and This month in your account currency, with percentage and win rate
- Light or dark theme, any chart corner
On attach, the chart is set to a clean white style (no grid, no tick volume, chart shift on). This can be turned off.

RECOMMENDATIONS
------------------------------------------------------------
Symbol / timeframe: WTI crude oil, H1 (attach to any chart of the symbol, the EA uses H1 internally).
Account type
- Standard account is recommended for real profit making.
- Minimum deposit (standard account): 1,000 USD.
- Cent account: 10 USD (1,000 USC) is enough to run the EA safely, but the profit will be small in real money. A cent account is best used for testing the EA live before going to a standard account.
- Hedging account is required for the 2-leg mode. On netting accounts the EA opens one position to TP1.
Risk
- Use "Risk % per signal" (recommended 0.5% to 1%) so the lot size follows your balance and the stop distance of each trade.
- With fixed lot: 0.01 lot per 1,000 USD (standard) is a conservative starting point.
Session hours
- Default session is 15:00 to 23:00 server time (set for a GMT+2/GMT+3 broker). If your broker uses a different server time, adjust the session hours so they cover the US session.
VPS
- A VPS is recommended so limit orders, break-even moves and cancellations are handled 24/5.
