Hello.

What do you mean?
The indicator already has hotkeys (by default '1', '2', '3', '4'). You can set all of them to one key.

Never mind. I've been using it all this time and never realized

Hi,

can you explain the algorithm used to calculate future sessions estimated (~) ASR? As you can see in my screenshot below ASR for last session (London) was 997 pt so MORE than the ASR which was 769 pt (see screenshot). So now (see screenshot) the indicator estimates next London future session will be 760 pt.

So far i understand estimated future session value in points should be HIGHER than last ASR value (769 pt.) but 760 pt. is lower than 769 pt. Why? Future London Session estimated range should be higher than last ASR (769 pt.) but instead is shown lower (only 760 pt.) WHY? thank you :)

Hello.

The average is calculated as the sum of previous sessions divided by the number of sessions.
Each session has its own ASR value.

The indicator has the parameter "ASR period (num sessions to calculate the average)."
In this parameter you specify the number of sessions to calculate the average value.

If you set it to 1, then the future session will be equal to the previous one, see screenshot. (an error of 1 point may be due to rounding of the value)

Dear Taras,

I appreciate your timely response to my previous message. As an experienced trader with over 15 years on the MT4 platform, I've always valued precise data for accurate analysis. Therefore, the discrepancies observed in the ASR values displayed by the Pro Sessions MT4 indicator concern me.

I regularly use an ASR period setting of 10, not 1. I have attached my indicator set file alongside this message for your review.

Despite thorough testing, I continue to encounter data that appears inconsistent or incorrect from my perspective. As a step towards resolving this, I downloaded fresh history data for all currency pairs across all timeframes to ensure the accuracy of the data being analyzed. However, the issue persists.

For instance, I've attached two screenshots taken today while examining the Frankfurt session on CHFJPY M15 TF. The first screenshot shows an ASR(10) value of 1067 pt, while the second screenshot, taken under identical chart conditions, displays an ASR(10) value of 880 pt.

This significant drop in ASR value is perplexing, especially since the range of the session on the first day was 1252 pt, which is higher than the ASR value of 1067 pt. Logically, if the session range exceeds the ASR value, the ASR value for the subsequent session should increase, not decrease.

To ensure a comprehensive data set for the indicator to operate on, I've set the max bars in the chart to 2500. I've also restarted MT4 twice after downloading the necessary history data, yet the anomaly with the ASR values remains.

I am earnestly seeking to understand the cause of these inconsistent ASR values. Your expertise and assistance in this matter would be highly valued. I am hopeful that together we can resolve this issue or clarify any misunderstandings, ensuring the indicator functions accurately for precise analysis.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. :)

Warm regards,

Lev

Hello.

Can you be more specific, what issue persists?

Did you add up the points from 10 previous sessions, divide it by 10, and get a different value?

Dear Taras,

I appreciate your guidance on the ASR calculation. Upon revisiting the formula and recalculating the values, I realized that my initial logic was flawed. I initially believed that a session range exceeding the ASR would automatically result in a higher ASR in the subsequent session.

However, after further examination, I now understand how the collective ranges of all ten sessions influence the ASR, and why the ASR may decrease even if a recent session range is higher.

Thank you for your patience and assistance in resolving my confusion. The Pro Sessions MT4 indicator is functioning correctly, and I am pleased with its performance.

Warm regards :)

Lev

Hello.

If you have not activated the product (have not downloaded a single copy), then you can cancel the purchase yourself.

Otherwise, write to Service Desk, they should help.

Hi Taras,

I was dowloading another indicator, but not sure how I ended up paying for this. The funny side that I see both indicators in the purchase box but yours doesn't have the cancel button. At the same time the indicator is not located nowhere in my machine/ Please do whatever you have to do to refund my money.

The Market is the MetaQuotes service, they accept payments and resolve all issues related to this.
You should write to the Service Desk; I do not resolve these issues.
