WatchCat RR Box MT4

A Chart-style Long/Short Position tool for MT4. Drag entry, take profit and stop loss directly on the chart, see the risk/reward ratio and the lot size calculated from your risk % instantly. Green TP zone, red SL zone, clean English labels, and a round on-chart button to show or hide the tool. Purely visual - it never opens, modifies or closes orders.

Plan trades on MetaTrader 4 visually, directly on the chart. Place the box, drag the levels, and read the price, RR and position size at a glance.

Features

  • One-piece Long/Short position box: green take-profit zone, red stop-loss zone, no distracting edge lines.
  • Middle info line: Price, RR and Lots in one compact label above the entry line.
  • TP and SL prices shown just outside the box so they never cover the chart.
  • Drag the TP, SL and entry lines, or use the 4 corner handles to resize and move the box.
  • Double-click the box to switch between Long and Short.
  • Round, draggable on-chart button: click to show/hide the tool. The OFF state is remembered when you change timeframe.
  • Fast timeframe switching: chart objects are reused, not rebuilt.
  • Lot size from risk % of balance or equity, using the symbol's tick value, tick size and volume step (min/max lot respected).
  • Works on any symbol and timeframe: forex, metals, indices, crypto CFDs.
  • Visual tool only. No trading, no DLL, no internet access, no extra files needed.

Inputs

  • Risk % (default 1.0) - risk per trade used for the lot size.
  • Equity/Balance (default Balance) - base for the risk calculation.
  • Initial R:R (default 2.0) - starting reward/risk ratio.
  • Initial SL, ATR mult (default 1.0) - starting stop distance in ATR(14) multiples.
  • Box width, bars (default 28) - width of the box.
  • TP / SL colors (green / red) - zone colors.
  • Entry edge / handle color (grey / blue) - line and handle colors.
  • Handle size, hit areas, label gap, font size - fine-tune the look and the mouse targets.
  • Initial direction (default Long) - starting direction.
  • Round button size (default 54 px) - diameter of the show/hide button.
  • Debug log (default false) - writes diagnostic messages to the Experts log.

How to use

  1. Attach the indicator to any chart.
  2. Click the round button (bottom-right) to show the position box.
  3. Drag the TP, SL or entry line, or a corner handle, to set up your trade idea.
  4. Read RR and Lots on the middle line. Double-click the box to flip Long/Short.
  5. Click the round button again to hide the tool. You can drag the button anywhere.
