Position Manager Pro is a trade management tool for manual traders. It doesn't generate entry signals. You open trades the way you always do, and the EA manages them after that: moving stops, taking partial profits, closing on your indicator's signal and watching your risk.
What it does
Automated exit management
- Break-even: moves the stop loss to entry plus a lock-in you choose once the trade reaches your profit trigger.
- Trailing stop: starts at a set profit and trails at a fixed distance in minimum steps. The stop only ever tightens.
- Partial profit taking: three profit levels, each closing a percentage of the original position. Levels can be set in points or in multiples of your initial risk (R). Optionally, the stop moves to break-even after the first partial.
Custom indicator exits
Two independent rule slots let you use your own indicator to trigger exits or partials.
- Enter the indicator name and its parameters (comma-separated).
- Choose the timeframe, bar shift and buffers to read.
- Set separate conditions for buy and sell positions: above or below a level, a cross up or down (through a level or another buffer), or a signal present (arrow buffers).
- Choose the action: close the position, close a percentage, or move to break-even.
- Limit the number of triggers per position. Each rule fires at most once per bar and ignores signals from before the trade was opened.
Bulk SL/TP editor
Type a new SL and/or TP price into the panel and apply it to every open position on the chart symbol with one click. A blank box leaves that level unchanged, and 0 removes it. Positions where the level would be too close to the market are skipped and reported.
Real-time dashboard
- Balance, equity, margin level, floating P/L and today's P/L.
- Open risk at stop loss, in money and as a percentage of equity, plus a count of positions without a stop.
- A live table of positions: ticket, symbol, type, lots, P/L, SL, TP and risk.
- Quick BUY and SELL buttons with a lot box.
- One-click Close All, Close Profit, Close Loss and Break-Even Now.
- Toggles for Break-Even, Trailing, Partials and Indicator Rules that take effect immediately.
Risk protection
- Optional daily loss limit that closes managed positions and blocks the dashboard trade buttons for the rest of the day.
- A warning when open risk exceeds your chosen percentage of equity.
Who it's for
Discretionary traders who want consistent, rule-based exits without watching every tick. It manages any symbol, and you can limit it by magic number: all trades, manual trades only, or a specific EA's trades.
Requirements
- MetaTrader 5, hedging or netting account.
- Algo Trading enabled.
- A VPS is recommended if you want trades managed while your terminal is closed.

Important notes
- Strategy Tester: the dashboard can't be clicked in the tester, so a tester-only demo mode opens trades automatically to show the management logic. It's inactive on live charts and can be switched off in the inputs.
- Indicators: the EA doesn't include any indicators. Rules use indicators you provide, and enum-type indicator parameters are entered as numbers (for example, PRICE_CLOSE = 1).
- Bulk SL/TP prices: these apply to positions on the chart's symbol only, because a price is specific to one instrument.
- Limits: the EA can't manage a position while the terminal is closed or Algo Trading is off. Broker rules such as minimum stop distance and freeze level can prevent a modification, and the EA skips those without error.
Risk warning
