Overview
Fractal7 EA is a fully automated Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) on the H4 timeframe, built around B. W. fractal indicator applied across three timeframes simultaneously.
The strategy is simple but powerful: it only enters a trade when the Weekly (W1), Daily (D1), and 4-Hour (H4) trends are all aligned in the same direction. This triple confirmation filter eliminates low-quality signals and keeps the system in high-probability setups.
No martingale. No grid. No averaging. One trade at a time.
How It Works
1 — Direction (Weekly W1) The EA reads the Weekly fractal structure to determine the dominant trend. Only long trades are taken in a W1 uptrend; only short trades in a W1 downtrend.
2 — Opportunity (Daily D1) Within the W1 trend, a D1 fractal breakout confirms the trade opportunity. The EA waits for the market to move in the direction of the higher timeframe bias.
3 — Entry Trigger (H4) The actual entry is triggered by an H4 fractal breakout in the direction confirmed by both W1 and D1. Stop Loss is placed below/above the most recent H4 fractal with a configurable buffer.
Trade Management
The EA includes three intelligent management layers:
- Breakeven — moves Stop Loss to entry price when the trade reaches a configurable % of the target distance (default: 30%)
- Fractal Trailing Stop — trails the Stop Loss to each new H4 fractal printed in the trade direction, locking in profits progressively
- TP Extension System — when the trade approaches the Take Profit level, instead of closing, it optionally extends the TP and adjusts the SL, allowing the trade to ride strong trends further

Requirements
- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold) — optimized and tested for Gold
- Timeframe: H4 (chart must be set to H4)
- Minimum Deposit: $500 (recommended $1000+ for safer lot sizing)
- Broker: Any — ECN preferred for tighter spreads on Gold
- MetaTrader: MetaTrader 5 only
Notes
- The EA trades infrequently by design. This is intentional — quality over quantity.
- Spreads above 30 points on XAUUSD may slightly affect results.
- Backtest with "Every tick based on real ticks" for most accurate results.
- Works best in trending Gold market conditions (strong trend environments).
