Multi-Engine Automated Trading for XAUUSD
XAU Vanta is a fully automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5.
Gold can behave very differently from one market condition to another. At times price develops a strong directional trend; at others it pulls back, becomes overextended or trades around short-term ranges.
Instead of relying on one trading pattern for every situation, XAU Vanta operates several independent trading engines, each designed to identify a different type of market opportunity.
The EA combines EMA structure, price action, momentum, volatility, trend strength and recent market behaviour to determine when trading conditions meet the requirements of one of its internal models.
Trading Logic
XAU Vanta evaluates the market continuously using several different approaches.
Trend Structure
The system analyses the relationship between price and its EMA structure to identify directional market conditions. When price behaviour, trend structure and momentum align, the EA can look for opportunities in the direction of the established move.
Trend Continuation
Markets rarely move in a straight line. XAU Vanta monitors pullbacks and pauses within directional movements and evaluates whether conditions support continuation of the underlying move.
This allows the EA to search for entries within developing trends rather than simply chasing extended price movements.
Exhaustion & Reversal
A separate trading model monitors situations where price has become extended and momentum begins to change.
Volatility, candle behaviour and momentum conditions are evaluated before a potential reversal entry is permitted.
Range & Sweep Behaviour
Gold frequently moves beyond recent price areas before returning back into its previous range.
XAU Vanta monitors these movements and can identify selected opportunities when price rejection and the EA's internal confirmation conditions align.
Each trading model operates independently while sharing the same central execution and account-protection framework.
No Martingale. No Grid.
XAU Vanta does not use Martingale or Grid trading.
The EA does not automatically increase position size following a losing trade and does not continually add positions against an adverse market move in an attempt to recover a basket of losses.
Every new position must be generated by a valid trading signal from one of XAU Vanta's internal engines.
Individual trades are managed using predefined exit and protection logic.
Trade Management
XAU Vanta automatically manages positions from entry through to exit.
Depending on the trading engine and market conditions, this includes:

- Profit targets
- Trailing trade management
- Maximum holding logic
- Spread protection
- Simultaneous position limits
Different types of market setups have different characteristics, so the EA does not force every trading engine to use identical trade-management behaviour.
Account Protection
Risk management operates independently from the entry system.
XAU Vanta includes built-in controls for:

- Maximum number of trades per day
- Maximum simultaneous positions
- Spread conditions
- End-of-week position management
- Maximum lot limits
- Position sizing
These safeguards are designed to prevent the strategy from trading without limits during unfavourable conditions.
Position Sizing
XAU Vanta provides two approaches to position sizing.
Profile Mode
Choose from the available exposure profiles and allow the EA to calculate its trading volume using its internal sizing framework.
Manual Fixed Lot Mode
Traders who prefer direct control can specify an exact fixed lot size.
This is particularly useful when initially testing XAU Vanta on a new broker or account.
XAU Vanta Dashboard
XAU Vanta includes an integrated chart interface providing a clear overview of the EA and account.
The dashboard displays information including:

An EMA crossover alone is not a trading signal.
A momentum reading alone is not a trading signal.
A single candle formation alone is not a trading signal.
The conditions required by the relevant trading engine must align before an entry is permitted.
