Apex Dual Master Gold is a fully automated Expert Advisor for Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5. It runs two independent strategies from one file: an M5 scalping engine for short intraday moves during the London and New York sessions, and an M15 trend-following engine that holds positions longer with a 1:4 reward-to-risk target. Every trade is opened with a hard Stop Loss. The EA does not use martingale, grid or averaging.

HOW IT WORKS

Engine 1 - M5 Scalper

- Looks for Fair Value Gap (FVG) imbalances confirmed by Stochastic momentum and EMA direction.

- ATR-based Take Profit, tight Stop Loss and early breakeven.

- Trades London and New York hours by default (can be switched to 24/5).

Engine 2 - M15 Trend Runner

- Trades in the direction of the higher-timeframe trend (H1 and H4 filter).

- Targets 1:4 reward-to-risk with an ATR trailing stop.

- May add to a winning position (maximum 3 positions per trend).

Neural network filter (ONNX)

- A small pre-trained reinforcement learning model is embedded inside the EA.

- It scores every signal and skips trades when the score is below InpMinDRLConfidence.

- Can be switched off with InpUseDRLBrain = false.

Momentum exhaustion exit

- Closes profitable trades early when momentum weakens (Stochastic reversal and EMA slowdown), to keep more of the open profit.

MONEY MANAGEMENT

- Fixed lot or progressive compounding: +0.01 lot for every 100 USD of balance (InpSmallAccountThresh).

- After a losing trade the lot size returns to the starting lot.

- Lot size is checked against broker volume limits and free margin before every order.

- Optional automatic close on Friday before the weekend.

RISK - PLEASE READ

- Default settings (3% base risk, compounding on) are aggressive. In my backtests the maximum drawdown with default settings was about 43%.

- For lower risk set InpBaseRiskPercent to 1.0 and reduce InpMaxAllowedLot.

- Scalping results depend on spread and execution speed. Use a low-spread account and a VPS.

REQUIREMENTS

- Symbol: XAUUSD (broker suffixes such as XAUUSD.m or GOLD are supported)

- Chart timeframe: M5 (M15, H1 and H4 data are read internally)

- Minimum deposit: 100 USD (or 10 USD on a cent account)

- Leverage: 1:100 to 1:500

- Account: hedging, low spread (Raw / ECN recommended)

- VPS: recommended

INSTALLATION

1. Open an XAUUSD M5 chart.

2. Attach the EA and enable Algo Trading.

3. Default settings are ready to use. No extra indicators, DLLs or set files are needed.

4. Test on a demo account first. In the Strategy Tester use "Every tick based on real ticks".

- InpEngineMode: Dual Hybrid, Scalper only, or Trend only.

- InpUseDRLBrain: Turn the neural network filter on or off (default true).

- InpMinDRLConfidence: Minimum filter score to allow a trade (default 0.15).

- InpUseExhaustionExit: Turn the momentum exhaustion exit on or off (default true).

- InpUseCompounding: Turn progressive compounding on or off (default true).

- InpSmallAccountThresh: Balance step for each +0.01 lot (default 100 USD).

- InpBaseRiskPercent: Risk per engine in percent (default 3.0).

- InpMicroSafeLot: Starting lot (default 0.01).

- InpMaxAllowedLot: Maximum lot size (default 200.00).

- InpScalper24H: false = London and New York hours only, true = 24/5 (default false).

- InpMagicScalper / InpMagicRunner: Magic numbers of each engine (default 990111 / 990222).

- InpCloseFriday: Close open trades before the weekend (default true).

- InpShowDashboard: Show the on-chart panel (default true).

- InpAutoBeautifyChart: Apply the dark chart theme (default true).

ON-CHART PANEL

The panel shows balance, equity, floating profit, spread, open trades and the signal status on M5, M15, H1 and H4. It includes a Close All button and a Minimize button. The panel and chart theme can be turned off.
