Overview
Aurum Cascade combines a momentum-and-volatility confirmation stack with a chain-order (cascading) execution model. Rather than acting on a single indicator signal, it waits for agreement across trend direction, momentum, volatility expansion, and price inclination before committing to a trade — then manages exposure through a controlled, capped chain of orders instead of a single fixed position.
It is built for traders who want a rules-based filtering approach that stays out of directionless, low-volatility conditions, combined with the flexibility of scaled position building and configurable exposure limits.
Signal Logic
Every new bar, the EA runs four checks before any order is placed:
- Direction. Inp_FastMA and Inp_SlowMA moving averages establish which side of the market currently has the edge.
- Momentum & volatility bands. Two separate bands are built — one from Inp_RSIPeriod scaled by Inp_ATR_RSI_Mult , another from Inp_ATRPeriod scaled by Inp_ATR_ATR_Mult . Both must be breached before price action is treated as meaningful rather than noise.
- Inclination check. Inp_FastInd and Inp_SlowInd measure how steep the current move is; shallow, drifting price action is rejected even if the bands above are breached.
- Adaptive sensitivity. Inp_CorrectionFactor continuously reshapes how strict or loose these checks are, based on how the market has behaved recently, rather than using one fixed setting for all conditions.
A position opens only when all four checks point the same way on the same bar.
Chain Management
If the market moves against an open position, Aurum Cascade can add further orders in the same direction, forming a chain. Chain volume grows by StepExponent at each step, and the chain is hard-capped at MaxSeriesOrders — it never extends indefinitely. Protections (0 = off) progressively tightens stop distances the longer a chain runs, so an unusually long adverse sequence gets its risk reduced automatically rather than left uncontrolled.
Exits are handled at the chain level: TakeProfitPoints and StopLossPoints define the working targets, and once floating profit reaches TrailingStartPoints , a trailing mechanism follows price at TrailingStopPoints , locking in gains across the whole chain as it develops.

Usage Recommendations
- Backtest on your intended symbol and timeframe before live use, ideally with real tick data.
- Re-tune the signal block for the instrument you plan to trade — the momentum/volatility periods and band multipliers, in particular, are sensitive to the typical volatility of that instrument.
- Run on a demo account first to observe how the chain mechanism behaves under current market conditions.
- Size risk around MaxSeriesOrders and StepExponent , not just the base volume — total exposure during an active chain can be significantly larger than a single order.
- Confirm your broker's spread and ECN/filling behavior before enabling UseEcnFilling .
