VPR Scalper: Volume Price Relationship Expert Advisor
VPR Scalper is a precision scalping EA built on the relationship between tick volume and price action across three timeframes. Rather than chasing price, it reads the intent behind each candle, using smoothed, spike-capped volume analysis to distinguish genuine momentum from weak pullbacks and only enters when all three layers align.
How It Works
The EA operates through a structured three-layer state machine:
Layer 1 — Trend: A volume-weighted bull/bear scoring system evaluates swing structure over a configurable lookback window to determine the dominant market direction. No trade is considered until a clear trend is established.
Layer 2 — Signal: VPR logic classifies the most recent closed candle.
Layer 3 — Entry: A qualified trigger candle must form and have its open broken by price before the order is placed. No entry is forced; the EA waits for price to confirm.
Risk Management
- Risk per trade as a percentage of balance, or fixed lot size
- Stop loss placed at swing high/low with a configurable buffer, or fixed pips
- Take profit as fixed pips or an R-multiple of the SL distance
- Hard lot cap to prevent oversizing on exotic instruments
- Daily loss limit halts trading automatically when the drawdown threshold is reached
- Post-trade cooldown timer to avoid revenge trading
- Pre-flight margin check prevents order rejections from insufficient free margin
Session Control
Fully configurable session window and optional no-trade hour block, both based on server time. Works cleanly across any broker time-zone.
