Moving Average Cross Pro is a fully automated Expert Advisor built
on the classic moving average crossover concept, extended with a
professional set of filters, risk controls and trade management
tools. It is designed for traders who want a structured, rules-based
system that works across any Forex pair or timeframe without
requiring constant supervision.
The EA is free. All features are included with no restrictions.

HOW IT WORKS
----------------------------------------------------------------
The EA monitors two moving averages — a fast line and a slow line.
When the fast line crosses above the slow line, a buy signal is
generated. When the fast line crosses below the slow line, a sell
signal is generated.
A third moving average acts as a trend filter. When enabled, the EA
only takes buy signals when price is above the trend MA and only
takes sell signals when price is below it. This reduces entries
against the dominant trend direction.
A candle delay setting controls how many candles must pass after the
crossover before the EA enters. This prevents entries on signals
that reverse immediately and reduces the effect of indicator
repainting on lower timeframes.

MOVING AVERAGE SETTINGS

Fast MA and Slow MA are fully configurable with the following
options for each:
Period, method (EMA, SMA, WMA, SMMA), applied price (Close, Open,
High, Low, Median, Typical, Weighted) and timeframe (any from M1
to Monthly, independent of the chart timeframe).
The trend filter MA uses the same set of options and can be set to
a higher timeframe for multi-timeframe confirmation.

ENTRY CONFIRMATION

- Candle delay: wait for Nth candle after the crossover
- Require candle close beyond both MA lines
- Allow or disable buy and sell directions independently
- Maximum open trades at once
- Maximum trades per day

STOP LOSS AND TAKE PROFIT
----------------------------------------------------------------
Two modes available:
Fixed Pips: stop loss and take profit set at a defined number of
pips from the entry price.
Risk:Reward Ratio: take profit is calculated automatically as a
multiple of the stop loss distance (for example 1:2 means the TP
is twice the SL distance).

LOT SIZING
----------------------------------------------------------------
Three modes:
Fixed Lot: a set lot size on every trade.
Auto Lot by Percent Risk: the EA calculates the lot size based on
account balance and stop loss distance to risk a defined percentage
per trade. For example, 1% risk on a $1000 account with a 30-pip
stop loss will calculate the correct lot automatically.
Auto Lot by Dollar Risk: risks a fixed dollar amount per trade
regardless of account size.

TRAILING STOP

Trailing stop activates after a configurable profit threshold in
pips. Once active, the stop loss follows price at a set distance.
A minimum step prevents the stop from being moved on every tick,
reducing broker modification traffic.

BREAKEVEN

When the trade reaches a defined profit in pips, the stop loss is
moved to entry price plus a small buffer. This locks in a minimal
profit and removes risk from the trade.

Optional position sizing system with two modes:
Classic Martingale: the lot size is multiplied after a losing trade.
Anti-Martingale: the lot size is multiplied after a winning trade.
Both modes include a configurable multiplier, maximum number of
steps before reset, and a maximum lot cap for safety.

SESSION FILTER

Trading can be restricted to defined hours using server time. Start
and end hour and minute are configurable independently. Optional
toggles are available to skip trading on Mondays and Fridays.

The EA uses the built-in MT5 Economic Calendar to detect upcoming
and recent news events. Trading is blocked for a configurable number
of minutes before and after each event. The filter can be set to
high-impact events only or to include medium-impact events as well.
The EA automatically identifies which currencies are relevant based
on the chart symbol.

RISK GUARD

Daily loss limit: when the account equity drops by a defined
percentage or dollar amount from the session opening balance, the
EA stops trading for the rest of the day. Optionally closes all
open trades when the limit is reached.
Daily profit target: when the session profit reaches a defined
percentage, the EA stops trading. Optionally closes all open trades.
Both limits reset automatically at the start of each new trading day.

An on-chart dashboard displays the following in real time:
Account balance, equity, open profit and daily P&L. Daily loss
