CRT Pro is a complete Candle Range Theory toolkit for MetaTrader 5. It finds the CRT model on up to three timeframes and adds the tools needed to read it: higher-timeframe candles, structure shifts, fair value gaps, liquidity sweeps, a bias table and SSMT divergence. Every module can be switched on or off.
1. CRT Model
A CRT model is built from two candles of the chosen CRT timeframe. C1 is the range candle. C2 is the sweep candle: it takes the high or the low of C1 and closes back inside the range.
- Bearish CRT: C2 trades above the C1 high and closes back below it.
- Bullish CRT: C2 trades below the C1 low and closes back above it.
- A+ CRT (on by default): a stricter rule. C1 must have a real body, C2 must be a small candle compared with C1, and C2 must open and close in the half of the range where the sweep happened.
- With A+ switched off, the classic rule is used: C2 sweeps one side only and closes back inside the range.
What is drawn: the C1 high, the C1 low and the 0.5 level of the range, with a label showing the timeframe.
Model states:
- Pending: C2 has swept the level but has not closed yet. The label shows the minutes left until it closes. Shown only when "Show Pending" is on.
- Formed: C2 has closed and the model is confirmed.
- Completed: price reached the opposite side of the range. The lines stop at that bar.
- Invalidated: a candle of the CRT timeframe closed beyond the swept side. The model is removed.
Other settings: up to three CRT timeframes at once, a session filter (London 02:00-05:00 and New York 09:30-11:00, New York time), and "Max Visible" to limit how many models stay on the chart. A CRT timeframe lower than the chart timeframe is replaced by the chart timeframe.
2. Higher-Timeframe Candles
Up to three sets of higher-timeframe candles are drawn to the right of the price, so you see the candles of 1H, 4H or Daily without leaving your chart.
- Number of candles for each set
- Timeframe name above or below the candles
- Remaining time until the current candle closes
- Open time under each candle, in the time zone and format you choose
- FVG and volume imbalance marked between the candles
- Swing sweep lines: when a candle takes the high or low of the previous one, that level is marked. The line is drawn in the "potential" style while the sweeping candle is still open and in the "confirmed" style once it closes back inside.
- Equilibrium line: the 0.5 level of the last closed candle
3. CISD / MSS
Marks the moment when price breaks the last swing in the opposite direction.
- Body (CISD): the break is confirmed by a close, the line is drawn at the body of the swing candle.
- Wick (MSS): the break is confirmed by a high or low, the line is drawn at the wick.
- A new line appears only when the direction changes, so the chart is not filled with repeated signals.
- "Lines Limit" sets how many lines stay on the chart.
4. Fair Value Gaps
Three-candle gaps on the chart timeframe: bullish when the low of the third candle is above the high of the first, bearish when the high of the third candle is below the low of the first. A gap disappears once price trades through it, by wick or by close (your choice).
5. TWS / TBS Sweeps
Both track swing highs and lows and show when one of them is swept.
- TWS (sweep by wick): price trades beyond a swing level and the same candle closes back.
- TBS (sweep by body): a candle closes beyond a swing level and price closes back within the next few bars.
- A sweep is confirmed when price then breaks structure in the opposite direction. Only confirmed sweeps trigger an alert and are used by the bias table.
- A sweep is cancelled if price closes beyond the extreme of the sweep candle.
6. Bias Table
A compact table in a corner of the chart. It answers three questions: where is the higher-timeframe bias, is this a good time, and is there a CRT setup right now.
Bias rows (D and W, plus two optional timeframes). The bias is recalculated when a new day or week starts, from the period that has just closed:
- BULL, "Closed above PDH": the day closed above the previous day's high.
- BEAR, "Closed below PDL": the day closed below the previous day's low.
- BEAR, "Failed to hold above PDH": the day traded above the previous high but closed back inside.
- BULL, "Failed to break PDL": the day traded below the previous low but closed back inside.
- FLAT, "Inside previous day's range": none of the above.
The weekly row works the same way with PWH and PWL.
Alignment: BULLISH when both daily and weekly bias are bullish, BEARISH when both are bearish, MIXED otherwise.
Session (New York time): London 02:00-05:00, NY AM 09:30-11:00, NY Lunch 12:00-13:00, NY PM 13:30-16:00, Asia 20:00-00:00, otherwise Off-hours. London and NY AM are marked as the key sessions.
Macro: shows "in macro" during the 15 minutes before and after every full hour, otherwise the time of the next macro window.
CRT Checklist: appears while a CRT model is live on any enabled CRT timeframe.
- CRT: direction and timeframes of the live model, and whether it is still Pending.
- TWS/TBS: a check mark when the last confirmed sweep points in the same direction as the CRT.
- Setup grade on chart timeframes up to 2H: B = CRT only. A = CRT with a matching sweep during any session. A+ = CRT with a matching sweep during London or NY AM, in the direction of the daily bias.
- Setup grade on higher chart timeframes: B = CRT only. A = CRT with a matching sweep. A+ = also in the direction of the weekly bias.
The table switches between light and dark automatically with the chart background.
7. SSMT Divergence
SSMT compares the chart symbol with one or two correlated symbols. Time is split into cycles, and each cycle into phases. When the chart symbol makes a new high or low in the current phase and the correlated symbol does not (or the other way round), a divergence line is
