════════════════ CHO MULTI-FILTER PRO MT5 No-Repaint Chaikin Oscillator Zero-Cross Signals + 16 Smart Filters + Alerts ════════════════
Turn Chaikin Oscillator zero-line crosses into cleaner, filter-confirmed Buy and Sell arrows — after the candle closes, with no repaint on confirmed signals.
This is a professional MetaTrader 5 indicator built for traders who want a clear CHO zero-cross engine, then the freedom to add trend, momentum, volatility, structure, and price-action confirmation. Enable only the filters you trust. Leave the rest off. One core signal. Sixteen optional confirmation layers. Full alert suite.
════════════════ PRODUCT TYPE ════════════════
• Platform : MetaTrader 5 (MT5) • Product Type : Custom Technical Indicator • Display : Separate window (CHO line) + arrows on the main chart • Signal Logic : Chaikin Oscillator zero-line cross on a closed candle • Repaint Behavior : No-repaint on confirmed closed-bar signals • Markets : Forex, Gold, Indices, Crypto, Stocks, CFDs • Timeframes : All (M1 to MN) • Trade Execution : Signal / alert only — this is NOT an Expert Advisor • Version : 2.11 • Alerts : Popup, sound, push notification, email
This product does not open, close, or manage orders. It marks filtered setups and notifies you so you can decide.
════════════════ WHY THIS INDICATOR STANDS OUT ════════════════
Most Chaikin Oscillator tools only plot the line. You still have to guess whether a zero cross is worth taking.
This version is built around one idea: confirm the cross before you act.
VALUE POINTS • Closed-candle confirmation. Signals are evaluated after the bar closes, not on a flickering live tick. • Modular filter architecture. Every extra condition is optional. You can run raw CHO, or stack several confirmations. • Chart-ready arrows. Aqua buy / red sell arrows with tooltip text, size, color, and offset control. • Built-in multi-channel alerts. Desktop popup, sound, mobile push, and email. • One-indicator workflow. RSI, ADX, MA, Ichimoku Senkou B, Double MA, AO, SAR, Heiken Ashi, CCI, RVI, MACD, Support/Resistance, and Fibonacci-zone logic live inside the same tool. • Clean object management. Arrows use unique bar-time names. Old CHO arrows are removed on unload. • Flexible for scalping, intraday, and swing. Change filters and periods instead of switching indicators.
What you gain is not “more arrows.” You gain control over when an arrow is allowed to appear.
════════════════ WHAT THE INDICATOR DOES ════════════════
CORE ENGINE The Chaikin Oscillator measures the difference between a fast and a slow moving average of Accumulation/Distribution. When money flow flips from selling pressure to buying pressure (or the reverse), CHO often crosses the zero line.
This indicator:
- Plots CHO in a separate window as a DodgerBlue line with a dotted zero level.
- Detects a bullish zero cross: current closed CHO > 0 and previous CHO <= 0.
- Detects a bearish zero cross: current closed CHO < 0 and previous CHO >= 0.
- Runs every enabled filter against that closed bar.
- Draws a Buy or Sell arrow only if the cross and all enabled filters agree.
- Sends alerts according to your notification settings.
NO-REPAINT RULE The scan starts from closed bars (index 1 and older). The forming candle is not used as a final signal bar. Alerts can be limited to the newly closed candle only. Once a closed-bar arrow is created for that candle time, the same object name is not recreated.
Important nuance: CHO itself can still move on the live bar while that bar is open. The published signal is locked to the close of the signal candle.
════════════════ KEY FEATURES ════════════════
- Chaikin Oscillator Plot Fast/Slow periods, MA method, and tick or real volume. Default is Fast 3 / Slow 10 EMA on tick volume.
- Zero-Cross Signal Arrows Buy arrow below the low. Sell arrow above the high. Custom color, width, and point offset.
- 16 Optional Filter Blocks Each filter is a separate on/off switch. Disabled filters consume no extra logic in the signal path.
- Multi-Mode Awesome Oscillator Filter AO can confirm by magnitude, rising/falling color, and/or zero-line direction.
- Structure Filters Support & Resistance lookback zone and Fibonacci zone from a simplified ZigZag-style swing search.
- Candle-Style Filter Internal Heiken Ashi calculation. No extra HA indicator window required.
- Alert Center Popup, WAV sound (separate buy/sell files), push, email, and “new bar only” lock.
- Practical Chart Hygiene Arrows are non-selectable, named by signal time, and deleted on indicator remove.
════════════════ FILTER MODULES AND WHY THEY MATTER ════════════════
Use these as confirmation layers. More filters usually mean fewer signals and higher selectivity. Fewer filters mean more signals and more noise.
RSI CROSS FILTER Purpose: catch CHO crosses that also occur with RSI leaving oversold or overbought. Buy needs RSI to cross up through the Oversold level. Sell needs RSI to cross down through the Overbought level. Benefit: reduces CHO crosses that happen in exhausted or already-extended RSI conditions.
ADX FILTER Purpose: require a minimum trend strength. Both sides need ADX >= ADX_Min_Level. Benefit: blocks many ranging-market zero crosses when ADX is weak.
SINGLE MA FILTER Purpose: trade only with a simple trend bias. Buy: close above the MA. Sell: close below the MA. Benefit: stops counter-trend CHO crosses against a chosen moving average.
ICHIMOKU SENKOU SPAN B FILTER Purpose: use the slower cloud boundary as a regime filter. Buy: close above Senkou Span B. Sell: close below it. Kijun input is used as the Ichimoku shift parameter for Senkou B placement. Benefit: favors crosses aligned with the broader cloud base.
RSI 75 FILTER Purpose: a slower RSI regime filter, default period 75. Buy: RSI75 > 50. Sell: RSI75 < 50. Benefit: keeps signals on the side of medium-term momentum.
DOUBLE MA FILTER Purpose: classic fast/slow MA relationship. Buy: MA A > MA B. Sell: MA A < MA B. Benefit: a clean higher-timeframe-style bias without opening another chart.
AWESOME OSCILLATOR FILTER Purpose: confirm CHO with Bill Williams AO. Optional sub-checks: • Volume/magnitude: AO >= Buy Min or AO <= Sell Max • Color: AO rising for buy, falling for sell • Zero: rising and above zero for buy; falling and below zero for sell Benefit: you can demand strong AO, accelerating AO, or AO already on the correct side of zero.
PARABOLIC SAR FILTER Purpose: stop-and-reverse trend location. Buy: close above SAR. Sell: close below SAR. Benefit: avoids CHO crosses that fight the current SAR dots.
HEIKEN ASHI FILTER Purpose: require HA candle color agreement. Buy: HA close > HA open. Sell: HA close < HA open. Benefit: filters out CHO crosses printed against the smoothed HA color.
CCI TREND FILTER Purpose: CCI above/below zero as a directional gate. Benefit: simple momentum polarity check.
CCI OB / OS FILTER Purpose: only allow signals when CCI is already extreme. Buy: CCI > Overbought. Sell: CCI < Oversold. Benefit: more aggressive, breakout-style confirmation. Use carefully; it is stricter and later.
RVI TREND FILTER Purpose: RVI above zero for buys, below zero for sells. Benefit: extra volume-weighted momentum agreement.
RVI SIGNAL FILTER Purpose: RVI main vs RVI signal line. Buy: main > signal. Sell: main < signal. Benefit: timing confirmation similar to MACD line-vs-signal logic.
MACD HISTOGRAM FILTER Purpose: MACD main minus signal must be positive for buy, negative for sell. Benefit: CHO cross must agree with MACD histogram side.
MACD LEVEL 0 FILTER Purpose: MACD main line must be above zero for buy, below zero for sell. Benefit: prefers CHO crosses that occur in an already-positive or already-negative MACD regime.
SUPPORT & RESISTANCE FILTER Purpose: require the signal candle to interact with a recent swing zone. Looks back SR_Period bars for the lowest low and highest high, then builds a zone in points. Buy needs a support touch/pierce. Sell needs a resistance touch/pierce. Benefit: ties oscillator crosses to actual price structure.
FIBONACCI FILTER Purpose: only accept CHO crosses that touch a Fib zone between two recent swings. Swings are located with a simplified ZigZag-style search using Depth, Deviation, and Backstep. The zone is built from Fib_Level_1 and Fib_Level_2 (default 0.382 and 0.618). Both buy and sell require a touch of that zone. If swings are not found, the signal is rejected. Benefit: adds pullback-zone context. This is an approximation, not the official MetaQuotes ZigZag object.
════════════════ ALERT AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM ════════════════
When a filtered signal is accepted on a closed bar, the indicator can:
• Show a terminal popup: CHO BUY or CHO SELL + symbol + timeframe + price • Play a WAV file (separate buy and sell names) • Send a MetaQuotes push notification to the mobile app • Send an email with the same message
AlertOnlyNewBar = true is the recommended mode. It aims to fire when the newest closed candle (shift 1) qualifies, and it stores the last alert bar time to reduce duplicates.
Push and email require correct terminal settings: Tools > Options > Notifications for push Tools > Options > Email for mail
This indicator cannot fix MetaTrader communication settings. If push/email fail, check the terminal first.
════════════════ VISUAL ELEMENTS ════════════════
SEPARATE WINDOW • Plot name : CHO • Style : solid line, width 2, DodgerBlue • Level : 0, silver dotted line • Short name: CHO(Fast,Slow) + MultiFilter NR
MAIN CHART ARROWS • Buy : Wingdings code 233, color BuyColor, below low by ArrowOffset points • Sell : Wingdings code 234, color SellColor, above high by ArrowOffset points • Tooltip explains the closed-bar CHO zero cross • Object prefixes: CHO_Buy_ and CHO_Sell_
If ShowSignal = false, the CHO line still plots, but arrows and signal scanning are skipped.
════════════════ COMPLETE INPUT GUIDE ════════════════
Read this section before attaching the indicator. Every input below appears in the settings dialog.
CHAIKIN OSCILLATOR
FastPeriod Fast MA period of the Chaikin calculation. Lower = faster, more crosses. Default 3.
SlowPeriod Slow MA period. Higher = smoother, fewer crosses. Default 10. Keep SlowPeriod greater than FastPeriod.
MaMethod Moving-average method used inside Chaikin. Default EMA. EMA reacts faster. SMA is smoother. SMMA/LWMA change the lag profile.
AppliedVolume VOLUME_TICK uses tick volume. VOLUME_REAL uses exchange volume when the broker provides it. On most Forex symbols, tick volume is the practical choice.
SIGNAL ARROWS
BuyColor Color of bullish arrows. Default Aqua.
SellColor Color of bearish arrows. Default Red.
ArrowSize Arrow thickness. Default 2. Increase on high-resolution screens.
ArrowOffset Distance from candle high/low in points. Default 30. On Gold or high-digit indices you may need a larger offset. On JPY pairs, test a smaller one.

════════════════ HOW TO INSTALL AND USE ════════════════
- Open MetaTrader 5.
- File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Indicators.
- Copy the indicator file into that folder (or use the Market / Navigator install path).
- Restart MT5 or right-click Navigator > Indicators > Refresh.
- Drag the indicator onto a chart.
- Enable “Allow Algo Trading” / notifications only if you need push or email.
- Start with ALL filters OFF. Confirm that CHO and raw zero-cross arrows behave as expected.
- Enable one filter at a time. Watch how arrow frequency changes.
- Only then combine 2–4 filters that match your style.
- Set alerts last, after you accept the visual signal quality.
RECOMMENDED FIRST TEST • Symbol : a liquid pair such as EURUSD or XAUUSD • Timeframe : M15, H1, or H4 • Filters : none, then add Single MA 50 or RSI75 • Alerts : popup + sound, AlertOnlyNewBar = true • ShowSignal : true
BUILDING A STRATEGY STACK Conservative trend stack example: • Use_MA_Filter = true (period 50 or 200) • Use_ADX_Filter = true (ADX >= 20 or 25) • Use_SAR_Filter or Use_HeikenAshi_Filter = true
Momentum stack example: • Use_RSI75_Filter = true • Use_MACD_Filter = true • Use_AO_Filter + Use_AO_Zero_Filter = true
Pullback / zone stack example: • Use_SR_Filter or Use_Fib_Filter = true • Use_MA_Filter = true • Keep raw CHO periods at 3 and 10
Do not enable every filter at once. That usually produces almost no arrows and makes testing meaningless.
════════════════ PRACTICAL USAGE RULES ════════════════
• Treat an arrow as a setup, not an automatic order. • Confirm the candle is closed before acting if you trade manually. • Match filter periods to the timeframe. A 140 MA on M1 is not the same as a 140 MA on H4. • Recalibrate AO min/max and SR zone points per symbol. Gold points are not Forex pips. • Use higher timeframes for bias and lower timeframes for execution if that is your method. This indicator reads only the chart it is attached to. • Backtest visually by scrolling history. Because arrows are objects created from closed bars, historical marks should stay on those candles. • If you change inputs, remove and re-attach or wait for recalculation so objects rebuild cleanly. • If no arrows appear, disable filters one by one. The core CHO cross may be working while a strict filter is blocking everything. • If too many arrows appear, add ADX, higher-period MA, RSI75, or MACD zero.
════════════════ LIMITATIONS AND HONEST NOTES ════════════════
• This is not a guaranteed profit system and not a fully automatic robot. • No-repaint refers to confirmed closed-bar arrows, not to the live forming CHO value. • Support/Resistance and Fibonacci modules are rule-based approximations. They are not a complete discretionary market-structure engine. • Ichimoku filter uses Senkou Span B only. • Heiken Ashi is calculated inside the indicator; it will not copy every external HA indicator variant if that variant uses a different formula. • Alerts depend on terminal permissions and your computer/mobile setup. • Past signal quality does not guarantee future results. Always demo test on your broker’s data.
════════════════ WHO IT IS FOR ════════════════
• Traders who already respect Chaikin Oscillator / money-flow crosses • Discretionary traders who want optional confirmation instead of a locked black-box • Scalpers and intraday traders who need alerts on closed candles • Swing traders who want MA, Ichimoku B, RSI75, or MACD regime gates • Users who prefer one indicator panel instead of eight overlapping windows
Who it is not for: • Anyone expecting an EA that places trades • Anyone who wants every filter on and signals every few bars • Anyone looking for martingale, grid, or recovery logic
