Historically, traders utilizing different trend and structure state machines (like ATR SuperTrends and breakout zones) face conflicting signals when the indicators disagree . Hybrid 90 eliminates this disagreement by construction . It uses one swing-pivot detector to produce the S/R levels, and the exact same close crossing that level dictates the structure state (BOS vs. CHoCH) . 🎯 The 3 Signal Arrow Types

  • 1. BOS (Break of Structure) Arrows

    • What it is: The primary trend-continuation signal .

    • How it triggers: It fires when a closed bar's close strictly crosses the raw pivot level (zero buffer) in the direction of the established trend .

    • Visuals: Standard up/down arrows (default colors: Lime for Buy, Red for Sell) placed just outside the wick of the signal candle .

  • 2. Reverse (Zone-Rejection) Arrows

    • What it is: A precise reversal or "fake-out" detector .

    • How it triggers: It fires when price probes into or beyond the extreme outer edge of an active S/R zone (level +/- half-width), but fails to hold and aggressively rejects, closing back inside the zone .

    • Visuals: Standard up/down arrows color-coded differently to stand out (default colors: Aqua for Buy bouncing off support, Orange for Sell rejecting resistance) .

  • 3. Clean Breakout Arrows

    • What it is: A high-momentum, decisive zone-clearing signal .

    • How it triggers: Unlike the standard BOS which only needs to cross the thin pivot line, a Clean Breakout requires the candle's close to completely clear the outer edge of the entire thickened S/R band (level +/- half-width) .

  • Zone Width: Sized by your specified half-width in pips, this dictates the drawn band's thickness and entry-filter distance without artificially gating the raw break itself .
