Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager MT5 is an advanced XAUUSD Grid Trade Manager and automatic Seed Entry EA designed for MetaTrader 5.
It combines two trading tools in one Expert Advisor:
Automatic Seed Trading + Smart Grid Basket Management
The EA can automatically search for an initial Gold trading opportunity and open the first Seed Trade, or you can open a trade manually and allow Kiwi to manage the position for you.
This makes the EA suitable for traders who want fully automated trading, manual entry with automatic grid management, or a combination of both.
Two Ways to Trade
AUTO SEED ON
When Auto Seed is enabled, the EA monitors XAUUSD for trading opportunities.
Three selectable entry profiles are available:
CONSERVATIVE — more selective entries
NORMAL — balanced entry frequency
FREQUENT — more active trading
Once a Seed Trade is opened, the Smart Grid Manager automatically monitors and manages the basket.
AUTO SEED OFF
Prefer choosing your own entries?
Simply switch Auto Seed OFF and open a BUY or SELL trade manually.
Kiwi recognizes the manual trade and can automatically manage the Grid basket according to your selected settings.
Manual trades can also be recognized while Auto Seed is ON, giving traders maximum flexibility.
Smart Grid Basket Management
When price moves against the initial position, the EA can add Grid positions according to the configured Grid Distance.
Users can control:
- Maximum Grid Orders
- Grid Distance
- Lot Multiplier
- BUY / SELL / BOTH directions
- Basket Exit Mode
- Basket Profit Target
BUY and SELL baskets are monitored independently.
The dashboard displays the number of Seed, Manual and Grid positions together with total lots, basket profit/loss, break-even price, next Grid level and basket target.
Scaled Money Profit Target
The Money Target automatically adjusts according to the original Seed Lot size.
For example, with:
Target = $1.50 per 0.01 Seed Lot
the calculated targets become approximately:
0.01 lot → $1.50
0.10 lot → $15
1.00 lot → $150
Additional Grid positions do not continuously increase the target.
This allows the Grid positions to improve the basket break-even while keeping the original profit objective consistent with the starting trade size.
Drawdown Protection
Grid trading requires disciplined risk management.
Kiwi includes multiple protection layers:
BUY Basket DD Protection
Monitors and protects the BUY basket independently.
SELL Basket DD Protection
Monitors and protects the SELL basket independently.
Master Balance DD Protection
Provides an additional overall protection layer based on account balance and equity.
After a DD protection event, the EA can enter a cooldown/locked state rather than immediately starting another trading cycle.
A dashboard control allows trading to be resumed when appropriate.

The strategy uses internal M1/M5 market analysis even though the main user controls have been simplified.
For the intended configuration, attach one instance to XAUUSD M1.
Important Risk Information
Kiwi Grid and Seed Trade Manager uses a Grid trading strategy.
Grid and multiplier-based trading can significantly increase market exposure when price continues moving against an active basket. Higher multipliers, smaller Grid distances and larger starting lot sizes can substantially increase risk.
The included DD controls are designed to help manage exposure, but they cannot eliminate trading risk or guarantee protection against losses, gaps, slippage, extreme volatility or execution conditions.
Always select a Seed Lot and Grid configuration appropriate for your account size and risk tolerance.
Backtest and test the EA on a demo account before using it with real funds.
